Alonissos island and the deserted Islands of the National Marine Park is the newest and probably one of the best diving destinations in Greece. The Alonissos Triton Dive Center is a full service Scuba Dive Center offering recreational dives as well as PADI& SSI scuba instruction and water activities ranging from: Snorkeling/Free-Diving, PADI or SSI Open Water Scuba Courses up to Dive Master.
As an advanced scuba diver, it was really good to be with a team that is highly organised, can accommodate beginners like experienced divers (and even like me super slow underwater photographers!) and is always in a good mood! They work with high scuba diving standards (asking a buddy check before every single dive is unfortunately not something I see often) and will do their best to show you the most beautiful dive sites of the island (weather related of course). An excellent point was that they do a 2 tank trip in the morning and in the afternoon, so you can share your schedule between scuba diving and exploring the island, or just scuba dive all day long! I also joined their snorkelling trip to Skopelos and that was really fun too!

Visited this dive center while on holiday on the island and did one dive with them. One was enough to verify our opinion that the reviews on here are quite liberal with their praise! We are experienced divers and most of our holidays are diving holidays. After researching whom to dive with on here we ended up at Sea colours. What a disappointment – we have no idea how this dive center got all these rave reviews. Firstly, the kit has seen far better days and is well past its due date. The boat? Well, it does not exactly qualify as a dive boat. It’s a FISHING boat for goodness sake! This thing looks like it will barely make it out of the harbour, it did though and went at wrist slashing pace. We witnessed it putt-putting out of the harbour and the poor dear was struggling to say the least. After Reading about all the fabulous dive sites on Alonissos I truly wonder how this dive center would get you there - not to mention the hours it would take!! Our dive site was literally around the corner from the port which makes sense because we don’t think this fishing boat would be able to go any further than that! The dive site was good, great visibility but another strike and quite shocking - the boat was left UNATTENDED which is a big no no in diving! It irks me intensely how people can get their friends, relatives, passersby and even the family pets to put up misleading reviews raving about something because this is obviously and blatantly the case here! This isn’t the way to do things mate! Went back to Skiathos and did some real diving so not all was a disappointment.

Peace! This is the meaning of the Swahili word ’Amani’. Amani Spa is a hideaway and refuge on the beautiful Greek Island of Alonissos, in The Sporades. The azure, clean waters of the marine park are reflected in the purity of the products we use and in the professional care taken to treat our clients.
Luke and his parents have created a delightful spa in a perfect spot. They have just three wonderful rooms for overnight guests, and the spa is open to limited day visitors. The small infinity pool has an unbelievable view, there is a sauna, jacuzzi and two tented treatment rooms. After just a few moments lying in the relaxation area, you will be dreaming you are in Africa. We visited as a family for an afternoon of simple luxury. My husband and teenage children all had massages and I had a body scrub. Beata used wonderful products on us all, and was excellent.
The island is part of the Sporades and we arrived by yacht. Luke collected us from the harbour, and delivered us back when we were ready. To make the most of your trip, I would suggest staying a few nights. This is a very private and special place, so small that you will feel a guest of the family, so amazing that you will struggle to leave, so perfect that you don't really want anybody else to discover in case it is full on a future visit!
Thank you for sharing your African home with us for a few blissful hours!

Few areas boast so many uninhabited Islands or the wealth of rare wildlife. Boat access is tolerated to all the Islands with the exception of Patatiri which is the main home of the endangered Mediterranean Monk Seal and where you need special permission. Elsewhere are fantastic secluded bays with good Meltemi protection and the chance of a sight of seals and dolphins. A special place. Take your rubbish home please.

The Drunk Seal is popular, and for a reason. It's quirky and fun. The music is loud. The crowd grows as the night gets later, and the drinks are fantastic. Good service, helpful staff, and well worth stopping by (they're right by the port beach, the place with the surfboard on the stone wall and the jam blasting).

We've just returned from a short holiday to Alonissos and this was one of our favourite Beaches, we went before the season had fully begun so there was nothing open at that time, but it didn't spoil the experience, great snorkelling in crystal clear waters, should only improve once the tavernas are opened for business.

Rent a boat and discover great inaccessible by land virgin Beaches turquoise crystal waters and enjoy tranquility and peace nature companion with dolphins and the seal Monachus Monachus.
We had a wonderful time with Sea Escapes. None of us had ever driven a boat before, so Stavros taught us everything thoroughly and we felt very comfortable being alone in a little boat out in the ocean. We were able to explore beautiful Beaches on the neighboring island of Peristera and fish in the deep water, catching 4 different types of fish! Would highly recommend this for at least one of the days in an Alonnisos visit! The price is very reasonable for a day-trip.

If you like hiking this is a MUST place to go in Alonissos. Make sure to take water and food with you and please do not leave any litter behind as the place (as most places in Alonissos) is untouched and well reserved! If you have a car just drive towards the camping of Alonissos leave it there and then follow the path from a door 20 meters prior of the camp entrance. Walk thought the path and then go down to the Plakes. The best places for couples to enjoy nudism, sea and sum!
