Known as Padova in Italian, Padua may be the oldest city in northern Italy, if you believe the claims of its 12th-century BC founding by Trojans. It certainly has history, including its famous university (one of Europe’s oldest, from 1222), the 13th-century Basilica di Sant'Antonio (resting place of St. Anthony), and Scrovegni Chapel, with Giotto’s famed 14th century frescos. The magnificent Prato della Valle, a 950,000-square-foot elliptical square, is thought to be Europe’s second-biggest.

Basilica where the apostle St. Mark is buried and which contains the largest bronze works of Donatello.
You have tried everything on your end but still things have not manifested yet? Well, have you prayed for the best interest of all concerned? If yes, go and ask St Anthony from your heart. I have heard many miracle stories and I have experienced by myself, too.
All prayers are heard - guaranteed! St Anthony is with us always, we just have to wait patiently with full faith. No room for any doubt!
Just immerse yourself with his beautiful energy. Trust that your prayer is heard without any exception. We are all special. Then surrender the entire situation and let it go. Maybe you pay forward your gratitude before it happens. Yes, this is what I did and it came true later.
Join the circle of prayers - pray for others, and for the rest of the world as well. Compassion and unconditional love are the keys.

This museum is housed in a former hospital dating back to the 1400's and makes a fitting place to tell the story of the history of Medicine in Padova. The story is told in each area by knocking on a door, which is answered by some of the greatest science teachers of ancient Padua. Unfortunately, English subtitles are at the very foot of the presentation. Most of the displays are in Italian, however. English information is given on a card nearby in most cases. For the most part, touching and actively participating is encouraged in most displays. Learn more about Padua's role in the 16th century advancement of science. Anatomy, physiology, pathology, therapeutics are all areas that are explored. Don't miss the 8 meter long mannequin's anatomy/physiology lectures in the Vesalian Anatomy Theater. There were lots of school kids here. NOTE: Check hours before you go. It was closed after lunch till 2:30, open till 7 today.

The Battistero del Duomo is a very worthwhile stop in Padua. Every inch of the interior is covered with beautiful frescoes - the masterpiece of Giusto de 'Menabuoi dating back to the 1300s. Sadly, no photos are allowed but it is not to be missed!

Just a couple of blocks from the Basilica, the Prato is a great place to walk or jog on a sunny day, or to browse through the stalls during market or antique fairs. It has a collection of interesting statues and Fountains too. Across the street, you find a few cafes and restaurants.

A superb example of Romanesque architecture, with particularly delightful brickwork on the internal columns. Serenity just a step or two away from the crowds. Worth a walk under the porticoes a few minutes from heart of city bustle.

A place that offers you the opportunity to travel light years away exploring the Universe. Everybody can enjoy our fulldome shows: you only have to sit comfortably down and keep your eyes open to the Cosmos.
I went there by chance with a friends...and we were both absolutely astonished. The explanations were very clear, the sky had no secrets when we left.
