A fantastic place to visit. Nice Hotel rooms and Restaurant and shop. Very good wine tour the tour guide a Thai/New Zeelander was great. The Owner family was nice especially the daughter Nikki. Food in the restaurant ok (but reduce the number of dishes and make the once you keep even better.). The service in the restaurant can improve. The wines are ok. Breakfast very good. There should be someone in the staff with better knowledge in English. It would help a lot and make the stay even better. Today if you ask the staff about things to do in the area the can not answer. Good luck in the future! We will come back.

Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park

Reviewed By Kaniz K - Dhaka City, Bangladesh

We wanted to visit a closer place not far from Bangkok on a weekend and our friend suggested Sara Buri to see the Sunflower fields and the seven small waterfalls/streams. Thank God, we went there and enjoyed thoroughly our day. I guess, from Sara Buri, it was only 30 km away. The entrance to the Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park had lots of shops and eatery. After having deliciously salt covered fresh fish baked in hot charcoal, we proceeded toward the fall by climbing down hundred stairs. The falls and streams in the midst of jungles were no doubt enticing for the visitors. Hundreds of people were sitting here and there next to the streams and Falls. Many were swimming in the fresh water streams. Even with the presence of so many people, the water and the surrounding areas remained clean. There were guards all over keeping vigilance. The seven small Waterfalls looked really nice with sun lights and greenery of the place. People could easily go for trekking in the bush.

Muak Lek Arboretum and Waterfall
This arboretum is located 37 kilometers from Sara Buri on Highway 2, It is just off Road 2089 only about one Km North of the Highway on the very edge of the Muak Lek town, and is well signposted.
The Arboretum was established in 1954 and has an incredible variety of established trees. It occupies an area of 375 rai with the main feature being the Muak Lek Waterfall in the centre. There are also two very interesting Suspension Bridges either side of the Fall. The whole area is a very well maintained Park.
The Waterfall is very popular with families and pick-nickers. When we visited there were a lot of people playing in the natural pools. Please note this is NOT the same Waterfalls known as Namtok Chet Sao Noi, which are located about 15km North of Muak Lek.

Good place for photography with very scenic backdrops. Highlight of this place is the close encounter with donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goat.
It would be perfect if there is a proper restaurant serving lunch or dinner, maybe some sort of Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, there are only cafe, snack bars.
Nevertheless, good to drop by and exercise your creativity on photography.

Wat Tham Tham Osod Temple

Reviewed By Raaraab - Kaeng Khoi, Thailand

Wat Tham Tham Osot is the correct spelling and is a Temple Cave between Muak Lek and Kaeng Khoi.
Driving North East along Road 3224, a gold Buddha is visible at the foot of a low hill on the Left, about 24 km from the junction of Road 3118 in Kaeng Khoi.
A short lane and an arched bridge take you to Wat Tham Tham Osot. The entrance to the Cave is at the rear of the Pavillion next to the striking gold Buddha. The cave appears to be more sandstone in nature than the typical limestone caves in the region. The cave meanders for approximately 200 m and is well lit and paved, there are numerous Buddhas, and Shrines in small offshoots.
It is very attractive and serene, and is very popular with weekend visitors.

Krok E-Dok Waterfall

Reviewed By robato_kun - Cambridge, United Kingdom

Off the beaten path, I went here with a group of 30 locals in September 2016 at the start of the rainy season. We hired local guides as the path to the top is overgrown.
Total ascent time took about 2.5 hours at a slow pace with regular stops and descent was 2 hours. I'd say difficulty level is only 3 out of 5 (as an experienced hiker), with the first 75% a gentle slope but lots of crossing through the steams (you will get wet up to knee or waist height) and the final 25% quite a steep ascent, often needing to use your hands. Care needs to be taken as the path gets wet and can be quite slippery.
One attraction here is the pink, champagne mushrooms (poisonous) which are quite beautiful. Then it's kwok e-dok waterfall itself which is quite a magnificent site but also fun to play in the pools (but a bit cold). Do take care as this is still quite a natural and undisturbed attraction. There are only a few ropes in a few places and the rest you'll have to hold on to bamboo or rock faces. Climbing to the top was a bit slippery as I didn't have the best sandals on so plan where you might fall as you don't want to be swept away down the waterfall.
Fun day trip that's worth trying once if you get the chance.

Be sure to make the booking in advance. U can do so online. In my opinion, the best timing is at 330pm. Very professional guide assigned to us. Buggy to bring u thru the vineyard. 1st stop is to stop at one section of the vineyard for photo taking. Second stop is to show u the processes involved. 3rd stage is on the wine tasting bit.
