Panasonic Electric Museum (Konosuke Matsushita Museum)
Its hard to imagine that Mr. Matsushita at the age of 22 way back then started this major global company.
As a child growing up in the 70’s & 80’s I was heavily influenced by Japanese electronic companies and was always fascinated by their hierarchy and global domination.
This museum will appeal to anyone who is interested in the detailed history and management of Japanese companies. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through this museum looking at some of very first products that were made in the early 19th century all the way through to the modern day.
There are audio-visuals to interact with, technical books on products and incredible amount of electronic and electrical devices on display.
The museum is not huge, but one hour or so will cover most things.
If you are interested in modern electronics, I can recommend the Panasonic showroom in Osaka (Umeda) Grand Front Building.

This is right across Hotel Agora Moriguchi, one can walk across to this store through the overbridge. I found the basement section , B1 to be the most useful for me as I was looking for souvenirs. There were plenty of options. Different levels of the store closes at different times; I was here on a Sunday evening. The basement/bakery section was open till 9pm. The checkout is localized to each section within the same floor area, hence you have to carry forward the stuff with if you are hopping the levels. The prices seemed reasonable. Overall, a nice experience and good place for tourists to shop.

Genuinely interesting tour with free audio guides. Really fascinating seeing the beer and bottling/canning process. The 3 free beers are great too - and they give you snacks!! Great fun and most definitely recommend it.
You have to reserve a place - we did it on the day and it was fine. When you get to Suita station turn left out of the gates and then head straight to the main road (you'll see the factory on your left). Turn left again and the entrance is quite far down on the left.
Enjoy!

This is a very interesting museum for children and it is the best way for travelers with children in Osaka. There are many educational and playful exhibits and activities for children. The Kids Town designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser,an Austrian architect, is through the 4th floor and the 5th floor.
Had a blast with our 4 year old! It is massive and lots of different activities for all senses, technology, music, culture etc... role playing was a big hit, pretending to work at the supermarket, hairdresser, postwoman etc... staff was lovely as well.
We went on a Tuesday, would strongly suggest to avoid weekends, there was barely anyone during the week. Way cheaper than Kidzania and not as crowded. We stayed 4 hours.
Would def go back until she is 7/8 years old.
