Sydney Olympic Park is a great sporting entertainment area, it's a whole suburb. There are several stadiums, the main one being the Olympic stadium. There are many opportunities for people to do so many different things. We went there recently and walked around just enjoying the surrounds. We have been there several times on various occasions, going into the Olympic stadium as well as into other areas. It would be nicer, however, if something was done to attract more visitors, more often! The place still seems to lack real life!

Rookwood cemetery is a really interesting place to visit at any time but particularly now when the Hidden sculpture walk is happening (until the 23rd October) There are so many interesting graves, some for the fact of who is buried within the grave, but also because of the beauty of lots of the stonework. There is a volunteer group called Friends of Rookwood who conduct regular tours and that is a worthwhile way of being shown the history of what is the largest cemetery in the southern hemisphere

Metropolitan Racecourse but has the country feel with city service and multiple service facilities , eat drink, wager and easy parking.
Modernised and full of flair and great facilities all round especially in the members.
Finally plenty of room at the finishing post and a smile at every post for service and a great Race Day.Dont even need to bring your own Horse!

Parramatta Park is one of few parks with so much history around it. It is a wonderful place to go for a walk or a run or just sit down and relax. The Old Government House is nearby as are other important sites. There are also activities for families and children.

During the week there's trading from any early hour until the afternoon for fresh beautiful vegetables, fruit and seafood. On Saturdays what couldn't be sold to traders or individuals is sold off to all comers getting cheaper as the morning progresses. The prices are wholesale and well worth the trip for you weekly shop or your entertainment function. It's s great experience!

Sydney Sundancer is a ketch rigged motor sailing yacht, thus combining the stability and comfort of a motor boat with the grace and serenity of a sailing yacht, and is licensed to carry in excess of 70 guests plus crew. However, we prefer to limit the number of guests to around 50 thus ensuring everyone's personal comfort at all times (through adequate space). She is super luxuriously fitted in teak below deck (see attachments) and there is a large canopy which extends virtually the whole length of the vessel giving perfect protection in all weathers. We have won the prestigious Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) award for the Best Wedding Reception Vessel in Australia in 2007 & 2010 (this award is judged over 3 years to demonstrate consistent excellence) and in 2008 we were inducted into the ABIA "Hall of Fame" (only 6 wedding suppliers in the whole of Australia have been so honoured). This is particularly noteworthy because ACTUAL Bridal appraisal of our service (in a number of categories including "value for money") in their own wedding, is THE evaluation criteria on which the award is based ! We are also the only charter boat ever, to win both the City of Sydney Council Award for The Best Decorated Boat on New Years Eve, and The Australia Day Council's award for The Best Presented / Best Decorated Charter Boat on Sydney Harbour (2000, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013), so you will appreciate just how much effort we invest in making each and every cruise a success !!
We decided to celebrate NYE fireworks on board the Sydney Sundancer. There were approxinately 50 people for this excursion that started 5:30pm-1:30am. The captain and his crew are warm, friendly and professional. They made sure everyone had fun without compromising safety. The boat is clean and well maintained. Champagne, wine, beer and refreshments were served all night. Liver pate and lobster were passed as appetizers. Dinner buffet was excellent: roast beef, Turkey, ham, salmon, shrimp and oysters along with various salads. We had an unobstructed view of the fireworks. A memorable evening and the best New Year's Eve celebration. Thanks to the captain and crew for making us feel appreciated and certainly special.

We bought two hours worth of jumping for our kids aged 6 and 3. They loved the foam pit the most. My little one also enjoyed the swings and smaller section. It was school holidays so quite busy but there was still room to sit at a table comfortably. The cafe downstairs had good options for a light lunch and coffee. There is a larger section for older kids as well as a parkour area which is really cool. I think this place would suit families with kids over the age of 8 to get the most value our younger kids were well worn out and over it after one hour but the older children in our group were still enjoying it two hours in.

A nice wander around the Gardens and Japanese Gardens await for you treasures and features not found anywhere else in Sydney suburbia. You can have BBQs using the free stoves provided as well, and there's playground equipment for the little ones. Be sure to visit during Cherry Blossom season (around August annually) where Auburn council throws on an event.
