Amazing day out on the water. The team is incredibly well informed and you learn so much about the different ecosystems you visit in your transparent kayak. A definite sportive, culinary, educative outing. Highly recommended and a great local venture to support as these guys' hope is to educate visitors and locals alike to the importance and preservation of the richness of Martinique. Book your flight, book your kayak.

My teen’s one wish was a horse ride on the beach. Ranche Macabou delivered. We had trouble with a language barrier to book it (I eventually had to have the hotel owner from hotel Corail residence book it for me as I didn’t receive a return contact to my English inquiries. We visited during high season so she did this 6 days in advance for me. Be prepared for a challenge finding it (down a bumpy back road and a hard to see sign on your right) but once you are there be prepared for some amazing scenery on some well cared for and gentle horses. Even with our language barrier they took the time to ensure we communicated our riding experience as best we could and were matched to the proper animal. I have read reviews here that the owner was rude. I did not find him so. He was reserved, but highly professional, at least with us. Definitely worth the trip if you are looking to ride a horse in Martinique. Very well priced too. Just $40 euro per person for two full hours on the trail, tho set aside 3.5 for the full tacking and untacking and to enjoy a grenadine punch with the owner afterwards.

This is a very nice hike of 6.5 km or 3 hours. The tricky part is finding the entrance to the path. To drive there, follow the road signs and/or Google Maps to Chateau Paille. Once you get there, you will see a parking lot next to a cell phone tower. Park there and with your back to the ocean, walk onto the road to the right, looking for the yellow signs that say Boucle de Vauclin and/or Sentier. There was a nice guy at the pink UCP building that helped guide us when we went the wrong way.
Once you are on the path, it is a loop on a peninsula, so follow the yellow blazes, mostly along the coast with a few inland diversions. Make sure to take the two one-way detours out to the peninsulas along the way; the first takes you to a beautiful ocean overlook with cactus and black rocks in the water, and the second takes you through the mangrove. The path goes through grasslands, forest, beach, and mangroves. I would highly recommend hiking shoes, and not flip flops or even hiking sandals, as there are many rocky places, as well as a number of muddy spots. The views are worth it. There are two different spots with a bench where you can stop and have lunch; both are around halfway through.

Lovely spot, gorgeous water. Lots of swimmers and kite surfers with restaurants right at the beach. Lovely big beach. It's a bit busy but nice

Located way off of the main tourist route, this large garden is well maintained and has great views. The grounds keepers are friendly and will show you around. Definitely get someone to drive you as it is very difficult to find.

There is a much better "accrobranche" aerial adventure park in Trois Ilets. This one was completely anticlimactic. The park was crowded with very small children - who looked like they were having fun, but this park has nothing to offer anyone over a meter tall. There was so much that was really terrible about our experience, it's hard to know where to start: a site devoid even of natural beauty due to being so crammed with randomly jumbled equipment; a fee of five euros charged for each accompanying parent; the two toilets stunningly inadequate for the crowd; a website lacking such basic information as prices. To avoid!

excursions and introduction to canoeing, with a guide and qualified instructor, who will make you discover the beauties of wild Martinique combining passionate ecotourism and pedagogy: mangrove day or clearmoon, the white bottoms, the Islands of Francois, and the inaccessible coves of the north . This activity is suitable for everyone (children over 4 years old, adult, senior, disabled)
