Stand Up Paddling is a rapidly growing new sport. It offers fun, fitness and a fabulously scenic way to get around on the water. It is easier than it looks and almost anyone can do it. Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle is an ASI (Academy of Surfing Instructors) accredited school, and abides by the high international standards for Stand Up Paddle schools.Anyone with enough physical fitness to take a one hour walk and with basic swimming skills can participate. You will be provided with a quality flat-water cruising board, a paddle and a rash shirt (or wetsuit in winter). You will need to bring appropriate swimwear, towel, sun block and a great sense of humour.
Took three teenage kids for a lesson and they all really enjoyed the session. Easy on line booking with quick confirmation and text with meeting point as promised. Good briefing and safety etc. Was about 10 total on the tour and the two instructors did a great job. Friendly guys and would definitely recommend this trip. Better if you book more that 3 as the price comes down to $50 each rather than $75 for one.

The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area. The Museum is home to the historic Lady Denman ferry and other historic vessels. Located in Huskisson, Jervis Bay, the Museum enjoys a waterfront location on Currambene Creek. Positioned in a beautiful bush setting in Jervis Bay, the complex includes a large recreation area with native Gardens, a mangrove boardwalk, fish feeding pond, boathouse and historic buildings.
The Maritime Museum is set in Jervis Bay with grounds that host a market once a month and a very decent collection. Star attraction is the Lady Denham, a retired Sydney ferry. Go all over it and even stand in the wheel house with the captain's cap on.
The rest of the museum deals with the history of Jervis Bay. Find out who Admiral Jervis was and how properly to pronounce his name. Learn about the long history of indigenous settlement and how we nearly had a nuclear power station built here in the 1970s. There is a good shop too, all run by very helpful local volunteers.

I was given a 1.5hr SUP lesson for my 52nd birthday. Could not have asked for better service. Bart was a fantastic teacher. Thorough explanation on the beach, before we took to the water. The location was ideal, very calm and quiet beach opposite the shop.
Equipment was 1st class, and I enjoyed the morning so much. Highly recommended experience.

Jervis Bay is home to approx 100 Dolphins and plays host to the migrating Humpback Whales annually. Jervis Bay is also famed for having the Whitest Sand in the World and crystal clear water... basically, Jervis Bay is amazing! Dolphin Watch Cruises, Jervis Bay has won over 30 Tourism Awards and have operated on Jervis Bay for over 20 years. Our Famous Dolphin Watching cruise operates 365 Days a year and has multiple departures and includes a 1.5 hour cruise, expert commentary and Tea / Coffee included.
We didn’t see a single dolphin so it ended up being really boring. I think it would have been nice if the staff had said something like “Sorry we didn’t see any dolphins” but they didn’t, they just seemed to pretend it was all good.
We drove up from Canberra for this so it kinda sucked that there were no dolphins.
We were also on the smaller boat, which was less crowded. It was super windy though so be warned if you choose that option.
Water is a nice blue. Weather was nice. Just be warned that if you see no dolphins then it’s just a very bland, dull ride around the bay. I read on another review that they will offer you a free ticket if you don’t see a dolphin. Nothing was offered to us but I don’t think I’d do this again because there’s no guarantee you will see a dolphin and if you don’t, it is just so boring that I couldn’t sit through it again. It would be good if they were entertaining tour guides or something so that you still walk away feeling like you got something worthwhile for your money.

Especially good for the kids. Reasonably shallow, very clear, and good line of sight for watching everyone and keeping an eye on them. Whether paddling, swimming, kayaking, fishing (or trying to), or sun lazing - its a pretty good spot.

A wonderful vintage cinema that is located at the end of the high street of Husky. Good value movies with all tickets selling for $10. Air conditioned so a good diversion on hot or wet days. The program changes every Thursday and is available online, on FB or in local shops.
