A surreal trip around one of Lanzarote's favourite son's house. The furniture remains as if untouched, and there is still a warm, homely feel about the place. His workshop/studio is available to see, and his famous SEAT Ibiza sits outside in prime position.
While here, also make sure to walk around the beautiful, picturesque town of Haría where this hidden gem lies. A real surprise which I stumbled upon, and which I hope you do too!

There are stunning views to be seen here but only on a good day. Sadly the day we visoted everytgo g was shrouded on sea mist and low level cloud. The view- well you could have been in North Wales?! So, it is a fair weather destination. Expensive for just a view.

A gorgeous beach, hard to believe you are in the canaries, truly stunning. No facilities, bring everything you need. Make sure the tide is in as the water goes out a long way. Worth finding if you fancy a lovely wild beach away from folk!

Handcraft Market, all saturday from 10 to 14.30 in a beatiful square. 60 shops, whit real hancraft from Lanzarote.
Having read the reviews I knew this was a small market but it was lovely! Really nice atmosphere in a pretty little village. Lovely craft and food stalls. Children (5&7) enjoyed it too. We ate freshly cooked crepes and bought beautiful tartlets for pudding that evening. Arrived at 10, parking a little tricky but managed. Was busier by the time we left. Great way to start a Saturday!

If you like to hike, you definitely have to choose Camino de los Gracioseros. Leave your car at Las Rositos parking and take 1 hour hike from the mountain down to the beach. Really nice hike, but was not the easiest one. Especially when you have to climb back.
Views from the top is breathtaking. Playa el Risco - big, beautiful and empty beach. You can reach it only by this trial or by boat. So we spend few hours sunbathing and enjoying Atlantic ocean and saw only few people.

The soft, powdery white sands of Mojou Blanco, Haria, are unusual on Lanzarote in that they are pale and white. A must-see area which we came to on the strength of having seen a photo of the white sands and rock pools ! Will surely return to see the rest of Haria.

The view from the mountain top is breathtaking. The climbing down takes more than expected so take water and snacks with you + appropriate boots. The feeling when you have finally climbed down and reached the beach is unbelievable. There are dune fields and small hills like in a mini desert, lava fields and big white sand beach - the lost paradise. Perfect to play hide and seek. Going up is physically harder but can be managed in half an hour with sporty 8y old kid.
Strongly recommend to experience this!

This collection is definitely worth a visit. Voluntary donations on the door and then a series of salas with stunning range of Christian Art and artefacts. The building is traditional but very easy to access on the ground floor. Interesting historical photos on first floor accessed by stairs.
