Me and my husband were impressed with the quality and professionalism of Serg Мезенцев. He is just incredible tour guide. I will highly recommend him to all of my friends once they are visiting Sochi in Russia. We loved all the presentations he did and will hire him for our next trip to Russia. Alena and Ken Dube. I'm a beginner of cross-country ski. It was a first time I ski in the mountain. I found another amazing feel of highmountain air and snow. I was impressed by exellent cross-country routs, which were maintained in good condition even during a snowfall.

First, good things about this place. There is a very beautiful swimming outside, and it has heating system, so you can enjoy swimming with the view even in winter (we were in February and it was really nice). Two kinds of sauna and a few jakuzzis. We were on Tuesday afternoon, so there weren’t so many people. Now, what I really didn’t like. First, to rent a towel you have to pay 200₽. And there are no flip flops but the floor is really dirty, especially in the shower with all the hair and in the changing room with all the dirt from the shoes. So, make sure that you HAVE your flip flops with you. There aren’t enough hair driers, and to dry your hair you’ll have to stand on the dirtiest part of the floor, which was pretty disgusting. And also don’t forget that all of them are in the sort before the main changing room, so if you’ve already changed you can’t dry your hair any more. There is no free drinking water.
You can pay for the whole day or for 3 hours, that’s what we chose and it was enough. I would recommend this place - but take your towel and your flip flops with you.

We were there on a very slow monday and while the lifts were half-full with no queues, the lodges, rental service, toilets, and ski runs were full. I can't imagine what the place would be like during a busy weekend or during peak season. There is heaps of lift capacity but the ski runs are not wide and all facilities are very limited. Still, the nicest skiing resort in Russia.

This popular state reserve offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the magnificent West Caucasus Mountains.
Another on our own private tour, this time with Sochi Holidays. It is a fairly long drive from the port in Sochi to the Ski Resort but it is well worth it, plus we had a fantastic guide and also a very capable driver. Along the way the scenery is wonderful, combine this with all the renovations they did for the 2014 Winter Olympics and you have a perfect setting. To see it in all its glory, and we did before it becomes too cold and ready for the winter skiing, you must take the Gondola ride to the summit, listed at 2240mts, it affords a beautiful overview of some snow capped Mountains to the changing of the foliage for Autumn, to the villages in the Valleys below. To get to the top you will make two stops change Gondola's before reaching the Summit. It maybe a long journey but it is, perhaps, a once in a lifetime experience.

one of three ski resorts in Krasnaya Polyna. Especially convinient for those who live in Gorky-Gorod area. Also it has the cheapest price for skipass. But in warm weather no snow in lower area. Very beautiful ski area in cirque but not the best slope...
Nice burgers are served on 960meters mark.

Gorki Gorod is a good place mostly for tourists, not skiers. As a tourist, you get a free lift to the first plato where one can walk around and take pictures of the Mountains.
As a skier, you have less people in the queues and good cabin lifts. But you have to pay for that with skiing on the tracks that seemed rather dull and less taken care of.
They have a good, fast, and well equipped rental service. You can get skiing equipment without having to provide your passport (like at Gazprom) and they seem to have all sizes available and no long queues.
The prices are very high, like everywhere in Krasnaya Polyana, but a bit less so than in other resorts.
