This was a chapel built by the black slaves as they were not allowed to worship in the "white" churches. Unfortunately closed when we were there so we did not get to see the inside which is apparently rustic with a dirt floor.

Interesting museum with local artifacts and agricultural implements and machines. Unfortunately during the week it closes at 1500 so we did not have time to really enjoy and read about the local history. Open longer on weekends and holidays.

After spending 500 in a just average dinner nothing special and way overpriced on the bottom floor of this 4 story restaurant bar, we went up to the rooftop for a few wine bottles. Since it started raining we went to the bottom level to wait for a taxi the security guard told my 60 year old lady friend she couldn't sit down and that we all needed to wait out in the rain !!! Yes, as ridiculous as it sounds he said " I hate tourists they think they can do whatever they want " and we where kicked out and had to wait outside it was only 11 pm. It's very sad because the view is incredible and the rooftop is really amazing.

A small town built on the eastern side of the Laguna de Chascamus, about two hours south of Buenos Aires. Nice parks with lots of trees along the edge of the lake where one can picnic, sunbathe and generally relax in peace and quiet. Cooler than BA temperature wise.
We went for the day but it would be good for a weekend getaway - lots of aparthotels and lodgings.
