if you want a beach and sea holiday what to ask more? it's so nice being in Canoa. Sun and sea and maybe a capirinha or a coccada (try it: it's a cake made by fresh coconut and milk; yummy)

Great place for a walk and have dinner and drinks. You can do a bit of shopping and maybe get a few tee shirts!! Nothing much doing apart from relax with a drink in your hand.

It is like a paradise... The nature, the sand, the dunes, the sea... Everithing is perfect for a relaxing weekend. The sea water is always warm... It was beautiful to swim at the sunset and wait for the darkness to see the night sky from the sea.
The food is good... Buy the fish and the lobsters directly from the fishermen.
Not far from the village, to the north, there is a dune from which you can see a beautiful sunset.

The special issue about Fortin is that there is a beautiful river scenery that reaches the sea. A few restaurant on its shore where you can seat enjoy the view and eat a nice fish plate. Try the "peixada" (fish stew) at Flavio Restaurant.

Quiet and informal atmosphere only with locals around and a few buggies with tourists passing by . . .
Nice water temperature, quite warm about 26C-28C !!
The ocean is a bit rougher than in Canoa Quebrada but wonderful,anyway ...

This stretch of beach is spectacular for the contrast of the red colored cliffs that back a beautiful expanse of clean sand, for the many high and dry jangadas, for the excellent barracas with their music and sea food, for the kite surfers and parapenting, for the swimming and for the shell collecting. It ranks highly as one of the best walking Beaches in northeast Brazil.

Nice spot on the beach to take pictures and or lie down and sunbathe. There are some tents with shade and restaurants that provide food and beverages.
