A know your army establishment open for all, free of cost. The landscape provides an insight into the nation's pride, the indian army, its stories of valor and its achievements. A museum with antique weapons, a park with war trophies, a rock climbing facility for adventure seekers, a small restaurant for foodies and a souvenir shop for those who wish to carry a remembrance from "yodhasthal".
The place is must visit for elders as well as children. Yodhasthal is located on the airport road. There is enough space for car parking. One of you needs to carry an identification card and make an entry in the register maintained at the entry gate. The entry is totally free.
Inside you have a good collection of artillery Guns, helicopter, fighter aircraft, other vehicles and they also run through a short video for the visitors. There is a canteen inside offering snacks. Overall a good place for all age groups to understand and have a glimpse of our defence equipment.

This is a place to learn about the people, their art, their lifestyle and see their uniqueness. The entrance itself is welcoming and very beautifully designed. The entire structure is made of columns and steel, yet they are wonderfully placed and balanced. the concrete columns are all covered with bamboo or mud or palm leaves and every effort has been made to have a feel of the tribal culture.
As we entered there were different sections one area has all different kinds of huts and they are all at human scale so one can get in those huts and sit and enjoy few moments in there. They were the mud houses and thatched roofs and few were the wooden houses and there were different rituals depicted as per the use.
I am a person to keen to know about the lifestyle of the people of any place and when it comes to the tribes, it's my first choice. They always have had a distinct style and unique sense of beauty. They are natural and rugged and yet beautiful.
One can see the different rituals, various paintings, musical instruments and even there was a room where various jewelry was displayed. One room was spectacularly different which showed the spiritual world as per the belief of the tribes and it was again well displayed with the help of natural and artificial lights. This place cannot be expressed in words but need to be seen and felt.
A must visit the place and beautiful piece of art.

The pre-historic cave paintings depict life in the Neolithic age.
The caves of Bhimbetka were discovered in 1957 by an archaeologist from the University of Vikram, Ujjain, Dr. Vishnu Vacakar, who has moved too far from the beaten path and accidentally opened this place.
Rock paintings have numerous layers related to different epochs of time: from the Upper Paleolithic, Mesolithic to prehistoric, early historical and medieval periods. The most ancient scenes, which are believed to normally belong to the Mesolithic age. These magnificent paintings can be seen even on the ceiling of rock shelters, located at incredible heights.
Performed mainly in red and white colors, with occasional use of green and yellow with themes taken from the everyday events of the era ago, scenes usually depict hunters, dances, horses and elephants, animal battles, honey collections, body decorations, disguises, masks and various species of animals, etc. He depicts the details of social life for a long period of time when a person often visited these rock shelters.
Now this place is in perfect condition, and I would very much advise everyone, be sure to visit this wonderful place.

An ancient place of pilgrimage is a site of early Buddhist monasteries, temples and pillars.
For Indians, who have all studied Sanchi Stupa in History books; its time to unlearn.
The Sanchi Stupa is much better and more impressive than the picture in books.
Signage to Sanchi Stupa is well marked.
Entry ticket to be purchased "below" ; prior to ascending the hill.
Pls note, vehicle parking off Stupa is free; hence DO NOT pay for same; whilst purchasing entry ticket for Stupa.
There is an incorrect ongoing practice regarding same.
Recommend to take a tour guide and/or use QR codes given on plaques.
Stupa at Sanchi are probably the oldest stone structures in India.
Stupas built by great Emperor Ashok.

This is one of the most amazing museums I have visited.
It showcases our unity in diversity.
Tje mythological trail is mesmerizing and I would suggest everyone go for it.
I preferred the open air Himalayan houses, tribal houses and the river valley culture to the indoor scientific museum.
Of course do see the latter but first explore the outside exhibits

The main tourist attraction in Bhopal. Must visit during evening time. It is crowded and noisy in lakeside and many street food options and restaurants. Really enjoyed beer in one of restaurants with lake view. Hard to find free parking place. You can see good view of Cabel Stay Bridge. There is also island inside of lake in which mosque locates. Muslim people boated to there to pray.

Wide variety of shops, number of food options, multiplex, sports bar, gaming hall. Mall provides you with almost everything that too at an amazing, convenient centrally located place.

One of the most famous hang out place for Bhopalies(people of Bhopal city). It’s a lovely place to visit for sure, though I found few issues around:
1) No public transportation(atleast not with great frequency)
2) Exorbitant pricing by street food vendors as well as Auto/Uber/Ola.
3) Not so clean, mess everywhere around!
4) Foul smell of lake specially around this area.

One of the 18 temples built across India by the renowned Birla family.
The presiding deity of the temple is of Goddess Lakshmi who sits with her consort, Lord Vishnu in the main sanctum sanctorum. Another sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati has also been consecrated inside the temple premises.
The temple is sandy-yellowish in colour Surrounded by greenery and marked with an ancient charm, this temple provides a feeling of solace to the devotees.
Entrance of this temple is marked by a magnificent archway.
