This park is exceptional lovely green well kept open space, roaming cockerills, goats, donkeys, swans and ducks. Lots of open play areas for kids, sculptures dotted around, Fountains, large ponds and cafe in the middle of the park. Up the hill at the windmill roundabout.

Plenty of structure and trees to make this worth a 1-2 hour visit any time of year. Japanese garden was one of several highlights, with pool of terrapins. Several pens of caged birds (looks like the birds of prey get outdoor exercise via displays also)
In warmer weather, the views and colours would be even more impressive.
we found it tranquil, unhurried and the 1 Euro entry fee seriously undersells what is on offer. We took a taxi from centre of town for 7 Euros and walked back (approx. 15 minutes)

Birds of Prey center
If you are staying in the Benalmadena area & you have no problem with cable cars/ heights do not miss this attraction. Excellent from start to finish. The staff are very knowledgeable & the commentator/falconer is witty and entertaining, explaining everything in perfect English. We had a snack in the restaurant & we bought a souvenir photo (no pressure) & we didn't feel ripped off at all. Great value for money. Thanks to all staff. You are doing a great job of conserving & breeding such beautiful birds.

Historic neighborhood that used to be the fisherman's district.
Visited this area several times during a 12 day holiday, it stretches from the Benalmadena marina end of Torremolinos over to the Punto de Torremolinos and runs parallel to the beach. One street back and running parallel, is the pedestrian precinct, there are an abundance of shops, cafes, bars and a great holiday atmosphere

If you want to get away from the largely modern coastline with high rise apartment blocks and hotels to a more traditional Spanish environment, then make sure you visit the Pueblo. Largely intact as a traditional Andalusian village, it has a surprisingly high number of very good restaurants and cafes. And the views from the high point of the church are fabulous.

This long Promenade stretches all the way along the beach with plenty of bars and cafes to rest your weary legs. Visited mid February and it was a very pleasant stroll but guess it’s probably too hot during the day mid summer. Numerous hotels and holiday apartments rise along the road opposite. We walked to the prom from Calle San Miguel which is the main tourist area on the hill above and took the lift back up! Have to say the Promenade is starting to look dated but if you look beyond that then you won’t be disappointed.

We have visited this Plaza several times and it always stays the same TRANQUIL. Just to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet is heaven. There are two or three restaurants here which always seem busy but not noisy and plenty of seats to sit and watch the world go by before you explore the rest of the village.

We took the cable car to the top and thoroughly enjoyed our day. The scenery going up, coming down and while at the top is amazing. We felt very safe. We walked several of the paths at the top and everywhere we looked....amazing.
We stayed for the falconry demonstration at 1:00 p.m. and we’re so glad we did. The staff do an amazing job with the birds and there is a lot of interaction with the patrons.
We highly recommend Teleferico Cable Car Benalmádena!

We were staying in Torremolinos the 1st week of January 2018. We walked alongside this beach on our way to Benalmadena and back and it looked fantastic.
The only downside - please be aware of the ladies selling / offering donations for Heather in this area as we witnessed them actually putting their hands into unsuspecting "targets" handbags & purses.
