As the gateway to Costa del Sol, Torremolinos is a modern city preserving the great charms of the Andalusian tradition. Here visitors enjoy more than 300 sunny days every year, comfortable temperatures (avg. 19ºC/66ºF) and 7km of beaches along the sparkling Mediterranean. Away from the sea and sand, travelers can explore the old fisherman’s district of “La Carihuela,” or sample the city’s cuisine – including regional favorite Pescalto Frito (fried fish) – in hundreds of restaurants and bars.

We reserved well in advance, although on the night, they had a couple of other tables for two, but it's probably wise to reserve... The food was consistently excellent, although the portions are huge, so we needn't have ordered appetizers... And the créme brulé is absolutely amazing - the waiter melted the sugar on top at our table..The service is top notch - we saw three different people come to our table at one time or another. However, for a classy place, they seem to be a little confused about wine glasses: at our table, our red was provided with white wine glasses and at other tables, we noticed white wine in red wine glasses, or the proper ones. It struck us as just a bit odd, but otherwise, it was quite a nice dining experience.

Visited twice on our recent holiday.
The Carvery is excellent with 5 different meats to choice from, have a piece of each one and the plate is full, to struggle to but your fresh veg on. Excellent quality and service.
The Prawn Cocktail is also to die for, so big and full of prawns that me and the wife share one!!
The place only looks small from the outside, but it is huge inside, so modern and clean.

Wife and I called in here after a long walk around the area. Very friendly chatty owner. Gave advice about the area. Was €4 a pint for the Pauliner, but made a nice change from the all inclusive rubbish over the road

Having been going here since it opened around 5 years ago, and the same extremely high standard awaits anyone who tries this restaurant.
It is a leisurely dining experience which offers great value for either the fixed or a la carte menus, you are treated as someone special and not just an number.
This restaurant is getting busier by the year and it is advisible to book as we saw many people turned away and this was in November.

Although not what we are used to the menu is well thought out and cooked to perfection.
As long as your not frightened to ask the staff will help you .
As others have mentioned the sangria is great.
So if you fancy something more adventurous then give it a try.

I write this review after our second visit, we'll be back for a third.
We travelled from Malaga to eat here, time well spent. An easy journey stopping at Los Alamos station. It's possible to walk back to Malaga along the beach, quite a walk, quite a restaurant - worth the visit (Small and informally fine). Thanks.

This place has been fabulous for a long time, this visit was ok but just not the usual wow factor we got used to. This may be time of the year related but we hope normal service is resumed next time

Meatina Brasserie is family run, small steak house. We are located just few meters from La Carihuela beach Promenade, in front of public parking. We specialize in MEATS as our name suggests. We offer large choice of premium quality steaks Spanish origin, gourmet burgers and delicious barbecue ribs. Our dishes are home made, as well as our desserts, just to mention delicious brownie with hazelnuts. There is wide selection of Spanish and international wines in our bar. If you are hungry for a steak this is the right place.
While on holiday we were looking for a a steak restaurant on eat in to celebrate our 26th Wedding anniversary. After Reading reviews on Meatina we decided to go.
We are so glad we did,.
We walked in and was shown to our table by our very friendly waiter Jonathan, who went through the menu and made some recommendations.
The place is lovely inside with a lovely, chilled out vibe, with lovely owner's Aleksandra, Christian that make you feel so welcome.
On to the food, we ordered Prawn Pil Pil for starters, the Prawns were beautiful cooked in a lovely Garlic sauce that we moped up with the bread provided.
For our main we both ordered the larger of the two Rib Eye steaks that were on offer (19.95 euro each).
It was served on a wooden board with homemade fat chips a sauce of your choice and a side salad.
Firstly the Steak, it was huge, a very thick piece of meat. We asked for it to be cooked medium and it was cooked to perfection, lovely and crisp on the outside and lovely and pink on the inside, and the taste was just amazing. You were provided with a Steak Knife but you could of used a blunt knife because the steak just cut like cutting through butter, so juicy and tender.
We have had steaks in various restaurants around Europe and I can honestly say this is the best steak we have ever tasted.
We rest of the food that accompanied the steak was also excellent, the chips were very tasty and not greasy, the side salad was not your usual side salad it was full of flavours and so fresh.
We were also talking to another couple in the restaurant that were also celebrating they wedding anniversary and they also said it is the nicest steak they had ever had and had been to the restaurant 2 out of the 3 nights they were on holiday for. We would also of been back if we had visited at the start of our holiday and not the end.
We can not recommend this restaurant highly enough for the quality of the food and service.
