While on holiday in Anapa, and being frankly 'fed up' with the overcrowded dirty Beaches, (and poor restaurants), we decided to visit the local Dolphinarium, and as it was tiny by European standards, really didn't expect too much.
What a surprise, the show was really excellent, the Sealion, and the Walrus, looked happy, and in great condition, and were superb in everything they performed.
Later, the Dolphins again 'wowed' everybody, with heir superb tricks, and antics. again the animals appeared happy, and in great condition.
All the staff, and trainers, were very professional, and appeared to love and respect these sea creatures,.
Finally, the presenter, gave a great show, full of imagination and showmanship, Well Done !!! everyone concerned, especially, for 500 rubles, ( you cannot get that in Western Europe or America).......( so well done Russia).....

I lived in Anapa for 2 years and never saw it working :( But it looks good. Be carefull and use hats while walking. It's hot. Sometimes you can see dolphins in the see from there

Anapa has a very rich history, especially from the time of the Greek city state at the location. Many of the finds from the archaeological excavations are excellent, but the poor presentation and limited information is very unfortunate. The Russian info is very basic, and there is nothing in English or any other language

I am an India, I love Russia, I was working in Sukko, really close to anapa, in an English teaching camp for children,
I dont speak any russian except few phrases after my third visit to Russia now,
Anapa, is just like almost another beach city, yes it's crowded, filled with noisy family, lot of rocky Beaches, but honestly nothing much more special, than the usual,
Then why I gave it 5/5 RATING?,
Simple, Utrish.
Utrish are a group of lagoons, takes about 40 minutes from Anapa, by bus,
Having been, traveled quite a lot, I can say that, Utrish, is one of the experiences I have ever had in my whole life.
Some might argue, But I would say it's a place for young people, not families, Considering it's a nudist beach.
However there are still a lot of families around.
The best part however about the Utrish were the people, everyone, and I mean everyone seemed like a family, A random stranger would greet you. talk to you, As an indian, who couldnt speak RUSSIAN, even I felt as though it was a home away from home for me.
I love the place, and I hope a lot more of people discover about it, and it gets the recognition it deserves.
