Popped into the restaurant on the lure of " traditional Maltese rabbit".
We then spent 50 minutes waiting for said rabbit in a not very busy place. Given we only had one hour between buses and next one was the last I was not very happy. What turned up on my plate was a scrawny oven baked rabbit with no seasoning and was tough as old boots. My wife's salmon Sandwich was ok apart from the brown lettuce garnish. Wouldn't return.

Dimitri is situated in this 400 year old building located next to the Auberge de Castille. Offering a quite ambience & serving a twist of Mediterranean, new British, Italian & Spanish cuisine. A straightforward menu, offering daily local fresh produce of fresh fish, meat & pasta with a good range of local and foreign wines from all over the world.
We stopped by here on a Saturday evening without a reservation, but Dimitri’s was full. The friendly maître d' looked apologetic but promptly offered us the chance to book, and we are very glad he did. Three nights later we were back for one of...MoreThank you Deborah.

We had lunch here on a sunny October morning. We managed to have a table where both of us were looking out at the beautiful Panorama - cerulean blue mediterranean sea and sky, Filfla rock glowing in the sun. It is a very small restaurant, which is something I have grown to prefer, as it should mean special quality and attention. And that is what we got here. We love seafood, only fresh seafood. We had marinated mackerel and freshly cooked prawns for starters, followed by sea urchin pasta, then Bazug - bronze bream - accompanied with salad and roast potatoes for mains. All along we had fresh warm bread - we really relish bread that is served warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. And a falanghina to wash everything down nicely. Everything was cooked there and then, very tasty, a variety of flavours, every item distinct from the others. For dessert a homemade tiramisu, then a good espresso to round off. Actually we rounded off with a homemade limoncello on the house after we paid the bill. Prices reasonable as fresh seafood goes. Atmosphere very pleasant and relaxed, meal well paced and served at the perfect temperature, aesthetically pleasing too. Will definitely visit again.

What do you think of when going to a restaurant and when you ask to do a risotto marinara instead of spaghetti they say no cause it is ready made!
We also asked if it is possible to add 3 King prawns to pasta with lobster marked at €17.90 and they advised that 3 King Prawns would cost an extra 9Eur. Which is good value so no complain there, but We also asked to have a spaghetti with just king prawns and the reply was the same sorry no cause its ready made. For me makes no sense cause they had king prawns on the menu they just had to add spaghetti to it...we were given the impression that everything was ready made, which i don't think it was the case as you cannot have all items already cooked and food ordered was delicious. And to have seafood already cooked i don't think its wise!
And they were willing to add kingprawns to the pasta with lobster for an extra charge. But couldn't do a spaghetti with only king prawns!
Also we were not going to have wine, and asked the waiter if possible to clear up table from the glasses, and he replied by saying 'it's ok, if you don't mind you can leave them on the table' to which we responded that it's better to take them to make some space on the table.
We ordered for starters Octopus in garlic, Spaghetti Rizzi with Calamri, 2 Tortellacci lobster, and for main course 2 stuffed calamari, Garganelli with Lobster and risotto with Porcini.
Food served was delicious and staff was friendly and helpful but was a bit disappointed by response given.
Total cost for For the whole meal including water, softdrinks and 3 Deserts was €128.50 which is a very good value for money.

Sotto pizzeria italiana, rising up a72 hours, a mixture of selected 4 flour to eat the real Roman pizza. Sotto pizzeria italianaSouth Street in Valletta, 32.
If you visit Valetta it would be a shame if you wouldn't visit Sotto. One of the best pizza in the world. Best ingredients. Beautiful interior. Kind and easygoing staff.
We tried one with pork cheek and parmigiano and one with Parma ham. Both outstanding. Delicious. Perfect.
And then tiramisu, light as the air. Perfect end of fantastic late lunch.
Highly recommended experience.

CLOSED<br>Located just off the main street of Valletta near Burger King, this contemporary bistro welcomes you in a cosy lounge setting. Our menu offers a wide variety of Pasta, Salads and Gourmet Sandwiches, as well as Grills. Our specialties are BBQ Ribs with homemade Blueberry-BBQ sauce and the "Full-House" Burger.
We ate here last night and we had the fillet of beef and the ribs followed by the cheesecake and they were all excellent. The portions are big and the meat is very tender. The young Macedonian waitress is very attentive, friendly, smiley and went out of her way to ensure we were happy and well looked after. They also had live music with a lady singing and playing guitar which was very enjoyable. We have eaten in other restaurants in Valletta, but for us this was by far the best and we highly recommend it.
