Good food and a hot bed!
Reviewed By KONSTANTINOS MIt was a long way to ZouPing city (or village) from Shanghai major area and interesting enough, as we had to take the bullet train direction north. It was rather a long trip for a so quick train as it took us nearly 3 hours! That specific day real winter arrived upon Shandong Province with snow blizzards and temperature at freezing point. We disembarked at Jinan Xi station (Jinan west) in the heart of this ugly weather. The photo of the square with the inclined buildings half way seen in the ate afternoon fog, needs no further explanation. To reach Zouping from Jinan Railway station we did another 90 minutes drive through darkness and lights blinding you. Our Chinese translator friend drove us to Zouping Hotel no. 70 Huangshan Three Road Zouping to eat and rest for the night. This small city reminds you of old Chinese films in muddy places shivering from cold. The room is in general OK and the bed seems tough enough for my preferences. After 15 minutes we had to go to the dining room organized for us. This is very common in China, as major hotels provide enough private dining rooms to eat, drink and sing maybe. Actually they do like to dine likewise in privacy. The food was one of the best ones I tried in China and we had also a couple of cold and fresh Tsingdao beers since next morning we were to work in tough winter conditions in an industrial complex. What seems to be a wild experience is that the bed is heated up (public system supplied above Yellow River.To jump into a warm bed looks great for the first 1-2 hours but we ended up to throw away all blankets without any cooling effect. their breakfst next day ha not much to reming typical Western type breakfasts of the World.. I don't wish to be mean with those very friendly and hospitable people, but it was tough to stay only with the noodles with sizzling hot red peper.. One last piece of advice: Do not open your room door at night if someone knocks it...

Typical Chinese ugly countryside Hotel
Reviewed By botti72Already my second stay here; problem is there are no better hotels around. The room is quite old; the bathroom is not very clean; and the breakfast is greasy. Dont expect any english speaking personnel, and unplug your phone during the night! If you traveled China a bit you will no why. Like I said, not better choices around; so if you have to go to Zouping...

Reviewed By 小亮哥哥好如家的价格不贵，房间很宽敞，而且早餐样式多，服务质量非常好！唯一有点不满意的就是房间的隔音效果不是很好，但总体来讲还算不错，一般出差过去都会选择如家！
