This French Teppanyaki restaurant is located in the Nanyuan Hotel in Ningbo.I have frequented this restaurant 2-3 times a year for the last 5 or 6 years. The food is outstanding. I enjoy the giant prawn, served with a delectable sauce. The kobe beef is very thinly sliced, quickly grilled then wrapped around some type of hot green pepper. To die for! Melt-in-your mouth tender, juicy and a mild bite to it.The chef also serves a poached egg that is mixed with tiny pieces of diced goose liver and served in the egg shell. A very special treat. We always ask for Chef Louis, who is extraordinary to watch on the grill.Service from the Chef's support staff is very attentive.Ask for a table by the huge windows and enjoy the bustling city view at night.

I liked this restaurant and actully found the Chinese food in China more spicy that the one cooked in most of the Chinese restaurants all over Europe. Certainly quality of food prepared in land is always better, however it looks like palates need and are used to stronger flavours. Place is mainly for family and youg students in a relaxed atmosphere. As always huge portions, this is the best part!

Breakfast is excellent if not a bargain. Lunch and dinner all you can eat of almost anything. Beer is included with dinner but getting a cold one is often a challenge as no enough was on ice. The sushi section is a bad imitation of sushi, C- rating, c'mon hotel management, hire a proper sushi chef to train them. By and large however the meal choices are quite good. Language issues with waitresses if you need any English or French, but they are sweet.
