Central market at Midtown Shangri-La provides breakfast buffet, room service, and other meals. Breakfast buffet looks impressive but really not if want Western style food. Quality was poor unless you want breads and fruit. Very difficult to get more than first cup of coffee even with lots of staff milling around. Really had to chase people down. Room service not a good option as room menu out of date and phone staff service skills poor and unhelpful

Went there with a Chinese friend by chance.Actually we went to the Mall with an intention to have seafood in a different restaurant and unfortunately saw a heavy rush in that restaurant. We than thought of going to a Japanese Restaurant nearby (ground floor/yard). However, when we were moving towards the elevator, an Indian gentleman approached and requested us try food here in Lal Qila. I asked if they cater Halal food and they confirmed they did. So, I opted to try food with my friend there. The staffs were very cooperative and the waiter helped us to chose the menu too.The quality is average I should say but the mango lassi was splendid.

Spanning the two highest levels of the hotel with a glass-bottom floor extending out from the top of the tower, Forty8 offers a sophisticated âabove-the-cloudsâ experience. The casual restaurant is styled like a vibrant gourmet marketplace with open kitch
Yesterday we had the pleasure to discover this hidden gem. Spending most of my time in Hangzhou / Shanghai area, I was surprised to only hear about this restaurant just recently. From the moment we entered the beautifully decorated restaurant (Chinese style), we were kindly greeted by two staff members that guided us to our table. We were lucky to come relatively late (8:30PM) so we were able to secure a table near the window with a beautiful city view.As a starter we had a delicious Parma ham with honey/melon and as a main dish we ordered Pasta's and lamb chops. The food was plentiful and tasty, as you would expect from the PH. What surprised us was the level of service at the hotel. After experiencing many (awkward) culture and language barriers it was a delightful to have a well trained staff consisting of both foreigners and Chinese that truly understand how to create a remarkable experience. As they understand that service is so much more than just bringing food and drinks to a table. From the moment we walked inside the restaurant the staff did whatever they could anticipate our needs and make us feel home.
