Unlucky night : Power Failure and no Power Generator
Reviewed By m0njcThe room is good and clean. Toilet is good and quiet modern. Location is right in the middle of night life, so it's terribly noisy. Bed is hard as rock, just as other hotels in China. Unfortunately this small inn in city center has no power generator, meanwhile others have. So on that unlucky night, we had the light out from 12am and it was truly scary. Only accompanied by noise from outside of people laughing and house music. We stayed in 7th floor and the next morning we carried our luggage by ourselves and we decided to move to another hotel (apparently better, but with the same price). The trip in ZhangJiaJie was tiring and we needed proper resting, so we ended up sleepless and didn't fully charged our gadgets. The facilities are good, but just the basic emergency thing is not there.

The rooms were beautiful and very clean. They also helped us in planning our activitities! This was one of our most favorite hotels ever! Also the breakfast is really great.

Okay Hotel
Reviewed By 123aprilpConvenient location to the railway station and airport and very close to Tianmen mountain cable carts. The hotel was a little cold during our stay - the floors are titled so very cold during the winter months. Overall the room was clean but minimal updates have been made since the hotel opened. Bed was hard but comfortable. Western breakfast was plain - we decide to eat out for the remaining mornings.

Reviewed By 9357MarkYThis hotel serves mainly tour groups and therefore it’s very crowded. Rooms are basic but it’s clean and the bed is relatively comfortable. Don’t expect much as we needed a hair dryer and there was none. Nevertheless we survived. Buffet breakfast is also basic like an army camp food hall. Don’t expect too much and it’s Super crowded due to large tour groups of domestic and foreign tourists.

Great value and incredible host!
Reviewed By cyndee524(Note that I speak Mandarin so was able to communicate with the hotel) Mr Chang was extremely helpful! Our flight was delayed and couldn't get to the hotel until 1am. We called him ahead of time to let him know. He not only waited up but also gave us some good tips on staying safe and watching out for tour guide offers from taxi drivers. Furthermore, he went above and beyond to help us plan our visit to Tianmen Mountain and figure out the best way to get to our next hotel near the Forest Park, which involved calling around to check whether the rate we got on our taxi app was reasonable, and finally booking a car for us and making sure we got there safely. The value of the hotel was also fantastic. The room was spacious and with touches of modern design elements and a view of Tianmenshan (we booked the mountain view room) The location is superb as well. Highly recommended! 張先生非常樂於助人！ 我們的航班晚點了，要到凌晨1點才到酒店，所以我們提前通知他。 他不僅在前台等我們，還特地交代我們要找正規的出租車和不要跟司機亂買導遊服務。 此外，他盡心的幫我們計畫天門山的遊程與到森林公園最佳交通方式。當我們決定了要坐計程車後，他還打電話去查詢合理的價格，替我們預訂了一輛車，並確保我們安全的到達。 酒店的價值也很棒。 房間寬敞，有摩登設計的感覺，在山景房還可以看到天門山，地理位置優越，強烈推薦！

Reviewed By Bold-ErdeneIt was good location and price was good too. Right next to the Train Station. In B corpus and 7th floor of the Building Jinjiang In. Bus station is in next building MANY. And also McDonalds and Grocery shopping in MANY Building as well. They don't speak English. But willing to communicate with us thorough translation application. Most people in there don't speak English. So you need to be ready to Communicate with them with body language or with some translated sentences, which you could prepare before you get in China. Our mistake was we didn't prepare it. Once you are in China you cannot use Yahoo, Facebook even Google translate. But people are there quite good.
