It is a part of the municipality of Veere, and lies about 9 km north of Middelburg. Oostkapelle was a separate municipality until 1966, when it was merged with Domburg. In 2001, the village of Oostkapelle had 1819 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 1.1 km², and contained 953 residences. The statistical area "Oostkapelle", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2420.

We came here on a Friday evening for the Mexican buffet (which was the only possible choice for this Friday). We liked the variety of food, the fast and fresh replenishment and the attentive service.As lovers of fresh air we also liked the atmosphere sitting on the front porch, watching the strollers passing by.

We always go to Verdi but this evening we wanted to try something new. Our decision fell on Roost because it looked cozy on the terrace when we passed. We booked a table and sat down grabbing a drink at Verdi, before heading over to Roost.The menu had a big variation fish, steaks, pasta, burgers and more. We had a starter platter to share between us. On the platter you had mackerel, tuna and pulled pork pasta, salami slices, Parma ham, bread. It was nicely served and decorated.Main dish we had was one dish with shrimp spicy and 3 tornadoes. It was all very tasty and good.For the food plus 4 glasses of wine, a bottle of sparkling water and 2 bears, we payed 150 euros.I would definitely come back to this place to try one of the other dishes

What a great find in Domburg, best food we had during our stay. Loved the home-made bread as a starter. The steaks were very good as was the octopus and the vegetarian dish. Dessert was divine. Service was impeccable and they have a very nice selection of craft beers!Definitely will come back when in Domburg again. Thank you for the nice review, see you next time !!

You have to know this place, which is on the beach and a good walk through the dunes away from the car park. But it is very worth knowing and worth the effort to get there.The views are great, the beach is wide, and the naturist beach nearby. We were in for a surprise when we found (on New Year's Day) that on a given moment some people started dropping their clothes ... a New Year's dive for 'free' swimmers!Service was good natured even when it got crowded. A fun place.

Vanwege de drukt eens een stukje doorgelopen richting het zuiden en kwamen toen uit bij de Domburger. Niet al te druk dus geen lange wachttijden. Een zaak die zich richt op het maken van verschillende burgers, maar heeft ook nog wel andere gerechten op de kaart staan. Bediening kan nog wel iets klantgerichter en betere interne communicatie ( wacht u maar even 5 min met het uitvragen van het volgende gerecht aub; 30sec later komt andere medewerker met het volgende gerecht al aanlopen? Sorry maar ik heb het niet uitgevraagd was zijn reactie). Wij kozen voor een mix-plank maat M die was goed gevuld en wellicht al meer dan we dachten voor 2 personen. Daarna de sharing burgers voor 2 personen genomen. 4 kleinere burgers van verschillende types. Prima gebakken maar geen culinaire hoogstand. Eens een keer iets anders dan een 3 gangen menu uit een Franse of Italiaanse keuken.
