We were welcomed in a relaxed atmosphere and were invited to go out on the cosy terrace. The weather was fine, but was soon disappearing to the back ground: lunch was in one word wonderfull!Served by friendly personnel we started with a lovely carpaccio. Our Canadian relative had a duo of hand made croquets. This was followed by the main dish: a beautiful and perfecly cooked piece of cod, served on mash with green peas and accompanied by a chilly sauce. Finger licking good. For dessert we choose dame blanche ice cream served with freshly made dark chocolate sauce - heavenly, was the comment. Myself, I enjoyed a perfect zabaglione made with local bear.Definitely delicious food at a correct price.

Me and my family dined here for my mothers birthday. We were with a group of 6 + a small chils (9 mths). The staff was very friendly and brought us a special seat for the little one and were very kind and comprehensive. We chose for the menu of the month. The menu had fondue as an option on it, but when I wanted to order it, it seemed not to be possible to take it in the restaurant. This option is only available in the brasserie. This was however not mentioned on the menu itself. The menu was acceptbale, but portions rather small. We had scampi's as a starter, than soup, than duck and to finish a chocolate desert. The price of the wine and water was very exaggerated. 25⬠for the housewine ( a decent spanish landwine) and 32 ⬠or more to start on all other bottles. This was over the top. Water was also highly charged. Water should be free or at a bottom price. It was also very hot in the restaurant, even with the window and doors open.I remeber the staff which was excellent and polite, I do not keep super memories on the food. I would give it 7/10, but thats not an option on tripadvisor, so I give a 6/10 +

To summarize my business diner two weeks ago; Tastefull refined food at its best and served in decent sized portions (which seems to be often a difficult combination). Friendly and professional staff. Yes it is not cheap and total price is more than I ussualy spend on diner. But it is value for money. I will be back with friends & family.

We've dined at Vienna with friends from Lokeren several times while visiting Belgium and each time the food has been delicious. The dining room's relaxed ambiance is inviting. Very easy to have good conversation while dining - not too loud, perhaps because of the high ceilings. The sole is always excellent and I ordered a pasta with mushrooms this time and loved it. Presentation of food is thoughtful and portions are generous. The chef seems to make a point to come out into the dining room toward the end of service to visit local friends and greet those who are still around from the last service. Nice tough, nice guy, very good food!

No better place to face bad weather than this safe haven with cosy furniture, wooden floors, rugs and sofa's. A bit bourgeois, maybe, but it all adds up. It works. What works even better is the food. It is simply great! Sure, you can ask for the lobster, the kaviar and the quail eggs. But if you follow the lunch menu, you will be pleasantly surprised. It offers great food at a reasonable price for what you get, food- and service wise. De Lozen Boer is a restaurant for very special occasions. Exquisite food, great wines, nice gardens, very friendly staff. Going there is a real treat. The restaurant is not really wheelchair accessible. There a two stairs to enter the door, but there is a door at the back with a ramp. There are toilets at ground floor level, though not really adapted. If you mention that you come in a wheelchair, the staff will help you.O, and if you are looking for a great place to hold a feast, let's say a wedding, anniversary,... they have 2 halls and great gardens.

Excellent menu, great dishes, first rate wines to accompany the menu. Extremely efficient service. Hostess and staff are charming and available for more information about the meal and the wines. Not cheap, but reasonable prices for that quality. One remark: the only colour used inside is grey, and there's too much of it! Nice garden for a dinner outside on a warm summer evening. I'll definitely be back
