Wife and I ordered the âextravaganzaâ for two and left so fat and so happy! Solid service, absolutely delicious food all around - Weâre from Alaska so we eat salmon elsewhere with low expectations but it was so light and buttery. Great sushi joint!!Dear jeffersond207, Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are happy that you had a nice experience at our restaurant. We hope to welcome you on another occasion. Kind regards,SticksânâSushi

A new Vietnamese street kitchen with a new concept than your usual Vietnamese restaurant. Our food concept is home cooking, keep it simple, healthy, super fast and affordable. We have chosen 6 delicious Vietnamese dishes and added as our favorites on the
I totally recommend this restaurant the food was delicious and if I ever go back to Copenhagen would totally go back. We had dinner whilst on our way to Tivoli Gardens. U definitely should try it.

We visited Seoul late on a Sunday evening with my wife and we both were extremely satisfied and happy with the place. For 169DKK you get all you can eat buffet and they coock you food in front of you (BBQ food, soups and salads were brought to the table). They will give you a list from where you pick out what you want to eat - and you can always order more. Everything we had (salad, miso soup, kimchi soup, spicy pork, Korean bacon, spicy chicken, potato pancakes) were out of this world! And the service was excellent also, they truly treated us well even though it was late and the restaurant was closing in one hour. They offer also an ála carte menu if you don't feel like BBQ buffet, but I strongly recommend the buffet option. They don't, however, have the menus printed in English, so unless you know Danish or Korean you have to ask for help. Or actually you don't even need to ask, they will galdly offer to help you out. I am really happy that we took the metro to Vanlose and walked about 1,1km to get to this place, it was totally worth it. We will definately dine here again the next time we're in Copenhagen (and we visit Copenhagen rather often).

We were staying in Valby with our Son and we were looking for a lunchtime meal on Trip Advisor. He suggested that this was the best Sushi restaurant in the area and so we tried it.We have never had Sushi before so were rather apprehensive, also being in Denmark and not speaking Danish. However as in all other places a very nice waitress spoke perfect English and showed us to a table. I expect if full the lack of individual tables could be somewhat disconcerting but there weren't many people in for a Thursday lunchtime so we were happy. We explain that we had never eaten Sushi before so the waitress brought the pictorial menu, which displayed their dishes to full effect. She talked through the types of things we might like after ascertaining how hungry we were.We finally opted for the 'Perfect Day' starter and mains dish rather than individual dishes. The replaced one or two of the dishes to accommodate my wife who doesn't eat meat.I manged to use the provided chopsticks but after the starters they brought my wife the childrens version with elastic holding the top. Obviously as we had never eaten Sushi before we can't comment on the dishes compared to other establishments but we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of what we ate. We chose our desserts ourselves from the dozen small pots on offer, delicious too. We had water, with activated charcoal to remove any chlorine taste and some in house made ginger and lemonade to drink. The restaurant looked immaculate and all the food preparation was on view. The staff were polite and attentive and the toilets had selections of creams etc and some toothpicks on offer. We were very full when we finished which surprised me but it was a nice fullness which lasted several hours afterwards. No one else has mentioned it but I did think the £117 bill was a little steep even for Copenhagen but it was worth every penny.Dear Jim, Thank you very much for your beautiful and thorough review. We are very happy that you had an amazing first experience in our restaurant, and with sushi, as well as you felt good taken care of from our staff. We are delighted that you chose to stop by.We hope to be able to welcome you on anothr occasion. Perhaps in London or Berlin?Kind regardsSticks'n'Sushi

We stop by here on our first night in Copenhagen. We had a few drinks, a sashimi platter, a maki platter, and a few sticks. The drinks were amazing - they had very interesting combinations that were very refreshing to enjoy while eating dinner on the terrase. The sashimi platter was fantastic. The fish was fresh and everything that they offered was delicious. The maki platter was not as great. We had a selection of four maki's and they were just ok. Many of them were over complicated and often ended up tasting more like the sauce and not having enough of the taste of the nice fish underneath. The sticks were the least successful. Luckily we only ordered a few. The meat was very tough and the sauce tasted liked the same commercial sauce found in many cheap Asian restaurants. The one very nice thing about the restaurant is the service. All members of the staff were incredibly friendly, very accommodating to help when a giant rain storm came and everyone ran inside. The price tag was the biggest shock. We spent more than 150 euros for two people for just ok sushi. We had a great time but I am not sure that it was worth the money.Dear meganbunny, Thank you for visiting our restaurant, and for providing us with feedback on your dining experience. We are sorry to hear that we did not live up to your expectations. Please send us an email at [email protected] and inform us about the time and date of your visit, then we will quickly get back to you with a suggestion for how we can correct this unfortunate situation. Kind regards, SticksânâSushi

As an avid foodie I love trying different places around the world, love great flavours and presentation, the focus here is food theatre, flavours were interesting, presentation was quirky, felt a bit FAT DUCK gone Thai. We started downstairs with a Kiin Kiin beer and the eight bites, all tasty but we felt a tad hurried and quickly pushed/ushered upstairs. We chose a great bottle of Riesling which worked well with all the food, 8 courses upstairs again a little hurried, Most dishes were fantastic. We seemed to have several waiters, one would have been better. As at the end no one owned our table and we were left alone

Visited for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday. We didn't have any reservations but luckily they managed to seat us. The service was amazing from first entering until leaving. Very attentive and easy to get their attention. Not sure if its always this way, but that day they had a buffee that you could help yourself from, and you were able to choose from 4 different options of hot meals that they brought to the table. One of the options were vegan (they had vegetarian) but they came up with a vegan option for me (which was huge) and the waitress guided me around the buffee to show me which were vegan and not. But the hot meal itself was so large that the buffee wasn't needed. The food looked amazing, presentable and lovely, and it tasted fantastic. Their orange juice was so good, and so was their chai latte - in fact i had to have an extra one on the go.Also, when it came to the hot meal which was served at the table, you could get refill of the items you wanted, at no extra cost. Very happy we walked the 30 min it took to get there from the hotel - it was such a good foodie experience. I would recommend you make a reservation tho, it seemed to be a very popular place, which I understand very well.
