A rich blend of the historic and modern, Zaragoza sits on the banks of the Ebro River. Stroll in the center of town near San Miguel's pedestrian ways or around the Plaza de los Sitios, where you find boutiques, markets and souvenir shops. A center for gastronomy, Zaragoza offers food and drink for every budget and taste. But tapas is a must! In 2008, Zaragoza hosted the International Exhibition; the Water Tower, Bridge Pavilion and River Aquarium show off of the city's avant-garde architecture.

Rural apart-hotel of 8 apartments set out in the style of a small village amongst olive and almond trees
Our self service bungalow - had a well equipped kitchen - fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and a complete set of cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery. Very large living room cum bedroom and a large bathroom with walk-in shower. The outside terrace overlooked fields and olive trees with a mountainous backdrop. Idyllic location, We actually stayed twice once on our way from France to the Med and again on our return. Good breakfast available and on our second stay we had a meal provided in the bungalow. Lots of walking, very restful and would suit a longer, relaxing stay. Highly recommended

Having stayed several times at this hotel's previous incarnation (the premises used to house the Hotel El Príncipe) I was eager to see what the new version would be like. The results were mixed. It's definitely a work in progress. I was required to pay in advance, but at least was e-mailed a link and allowed to select the card - this was convenient, as I booked with a personal card but paid with the company one. I am not generally a fan of 'self-check-in' hotels with no staff on duty and sure enough, the machine did not work, requiring me to spend additional time, after travelling all day, standing at the entrance and completing check-in by phone. The rooms are minimalist but adequate and functional, however I had the sense the chain have been let down by their builders who, perhaps, worked in haste. The TV was bolted to the wall at a weird angle, the closet door handles are the old ones, worn down by years of use and simply repainted, and the fresh paint job has already been stained by rust dribbling from the vents. The worst aspect was that the lift did not work the first two days I was there; I was on the 3rd floor, not too big an issue for me but for someone older it could be, and the sign posted next to the lift managed to be poorly written in 3 languages whilst also seeming somewhat sarcastic. ('The lift is broken, so don't use it, unless it is working, in that case by all means use it.') The best things about it were the cleanliness and the helpful lady on reception (when she was there, 8am-4pm). Also, I did like the general feel and style of the business travel room the rooms now go for. I might give this hotel another try, but there are many options in central Zaragoza.

Palacio de los Sitios is set in central Zaragoza. It features well-equipped apartments with balconies and free internet access. The apartments are housed in an 18th-century, listed building which maintains its original facade. Each apartment features contemporary décor, parquet flooring and has a seating area with a TV and DVD player.
We recently stayed 2 nights at the Apartments de los Sitios which shares the same address as the Casa Palacio. Our apartment was, as the title says, clean, functional and inexpensive. The air conditioning worked well which we much appreciated. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful, but pay attention to their posted hours. (There is another building nearby labeled Casa Palacio, so we wondered if there may be more upscale apartments under this banner, but we did not ask) There is a major grocery nearby and many restaurants, though here again you must pay attention to opening hours. Learn to use the bus system to get across town’ for example to the Palacio Aljaferia. There are stops nearby.

The room is basic and furniture is a bit worn. But location of the hostal is good - just about 800 m from Basilica del Pilar og katedral. Only 50 m to pintxos bar on the square which hostal is facing where 7 pintxos costs 5 euro. And about 200 m to Maradona supermarket. Free parking in the street and free WiFi in the room.

B&B Siesta is a Bed and Breakfast in the historic centre of Zaragoza with free breakfast included and free kitchen for guests to use. Save your money cooking your own food. There are many supermarkets in this area. All rooms with private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and central heating. Free wifi in all areas.
B&b siesta is near the puente de piedra and about a 5 minutes walk from the basilica del Pilar. The area is quiet during the night and there are supermarkets in the neighborhood. The room is small but very comfortable with everything you need. Marta is a wonderful host and she gave us a lot of information about the city. I absolutely recommend this b&b.

I cant say enough about how much we have enjoyed the Bridge. It is stylishly designed with lovely yellow accents and tasteful decor. Modern yet traditional with a boutique feel, well placed in the old quarter or casco viejo of lovely Zaragoza. Our room is spacious, well equipped with a coffee machine, fridge, desk, HUGE bed and flatscreen. This room and service is miles beyond the NH we just stayed in for the last few nights. The real treasure here is the man of the house...Bruno. He gave us every detail and set us on a course to fall in love with a charming, historical and romantic Zaragoza. He also sent us to a tapas bar that seemed to surpass the majority of Spain's delicious tapas and Pintxo bars. He made our trip here and we will most certainly recommend and return. Thank you for being such a gracious host and having this place for us to enjoy. This place would be worth double the price the charge, don't hesitate and ENJOY! Viva the Bridge!

Excellent location for a short stay - 5 minutes to a local bus (32 or 21), 20 minutes to Plaza del Pilar, where all the mostb important attractions are. 30 minutes walking to the "center" of Zaragoza: Plaza del Espagna. You can walk or take a bus: mostly you need the same time walking as taking the bus. The owner, Mrs. Pilar, is very friendly. If you speak/understand Spanish, she is very communicative. If she understands/speaks English, it would be absolutely an added value and the overall rating for this stay would be excellent instead of very good. The kitchen is available 24 hours/day/night. Surroundings is quiet. Room very good equipped, bed needs a replacement. The bathroom good. Air condition is working sometimes. Price: moderate. Allover rating: very good.

It was one of the cheapest oprions in Zaragoza. Not far from the city center, but not very close either - at least 15 min walk. On the other hand, it's a walking distance from other places in the city too... We asked for a twin room and got one double bed and two singles, so the room was "full of beds" and felt very small. The air conditioner didn't work very well and there was no WiFi in our room (too far from the reception). They didn't agree to give us another room although they had several others. Otherwise it was OK - the room was clean, the receptionists were nice and overall good value for money...

It is a little and cheap hostel. The negative point is that it's quite far from the city centre (about 20-25 minutes walking). Nice and clean rooms and toilets. It is a good solution for low cost trips.
