Usually stop here when driving by. Burgers are consistently good and of course have to get ice cream for the kids. Have fun!

I love this bakery. Great assortment of homemade donuts. The breakfast bar looks good, but haven't tried it.

Great experience. This was one of the best surprises we've had in our visits to Zapata. Owner, Romeo Mercado is very attentive and caring of his clientele. A courteous staff and delicious Mexican food. The salsa starts out with a slow flavorful taste and then the spice really kicks in. Hard to stop dipping it. Any plate is recommended but the Tampequnia Special is my favorite includes the best of everything.

Good, authentic Mexican food, very reasonably priced. Very simple restaurant; nothing fancy. We were the only people there so the service was great!

We've eaten food from here several times while visiting family in Zapata. The other night we ordered a bunch of Guacotacos to go and they were absolutely amazing! Tonight we were looking for something open around 10:30 pm and went inside. We ordered the Papa Asada. It was outstanding! It was the pulp of a hot baked potato minus the skin, served with melted butter and melted cheddar cheese, sour cream, and piled high with chopped beef fajita meat. They also give you spicy green Chile sauce on the side. It is sooooo good!

In town on business for an extended period and tried it for lunch today with coworkers. I had the Chicken Supreme which it was. Grilled chicken breast with mushrooms, gravy and cheese over a bed of rice. Great flavor. Friends had chicken fried steaks. Judging by the empty plates, it was good too! The soup appetizer was very flavorful. Friendly and quick service. A great place if your in town!

Enjoyed the Taco salad with chicken the first night, first I ever had to include pickles! Next night I had the Mexican combination plate, and it was really good. They have a bar in the restaurant so adult beverages are available, unlike some other locations.

The chicken salad here, is a salad with grilled chicken on it, as you would expect, but with a ton of shredded cheese that melts deliciously on top. I have ordered chicken salad at many other places since eating it there, but none can compare. And the charro beans are awesome.
