Ambiance was nice, but the food taste was disappointing, as I heard good reviews earlier before coming. Food was overcooked. I asked for sea food plater, everything in that was overcooked, so much so that the food tasted absolutely bad. Lobster was of low quality. I hope they improve on the food part, I might not come come again .Dear speedbird7, Thank you for your comments regarding our ambience. Stopped in for lunch with colleagues, generally an ex-pat sort of hang out. Ordered the mixed-seafood tagliatelle, excellent flavors, but oddly lacked any "whole" looking seafood, mostly chopped. Also got to taste two different pizzas, both really good but could have been a bit crispier. They tended to both be a bit heavy on the toppings making the center crust soggy. Friendly staff, nice inside and out.

Definitely one of best restaurants in Stone town. Food was very delicious and tasty, they offer all kind of cheeses, ham, prosciutto which is very hard to find on Zanzibar. Wine was very good with fair prices. Staff friendly and professional.In total we enjoyed it a lot.If you are staying in Stone town, this is definitely place you must visit.

Turkish food prepared by African chef and managed by a thai illitrate women.We got a bill in 72000 Tzs but the divided the amount by 2000 and demanded 36 Dollor or Euro which was a ripp off as at the same time all other shops and restaurants divided the Tzs by 2200 when I objected she brought excuse from sky and sea to cover up their wrong doing.Quality of food was less than 3rd class (it seems nobody check them)
