The restaurant was recently taken over by Davide and Annalise from Italy and completely revamped. It is now serving lical and Italian cuisine. The new managers have put a lot if time, effort andclive into the place and the menu is full of amazing fare and the ambiance is once again warm and inviting with cool music amd a friendly vibe. Our group ordered various pastas, chapatis, local curries and home made noodles. For me the noodles were simply the best I've ever tasted. Think Italy meets Asia in the best way possible, a noodle made with a home made pasta approach. Divine. My veg curry was superb. The others raved about the Urchin pasta. It's really the best place we ate iverall in Zanzibar whilst there. It was slightly above average price wise, but worth it. The new managers are there constantly making sure the quality that comes from the kitchen is on point.

Fantastic restaurant with great owner , great waiter Ali and great chefs-the food was delicious every time. It is nice to learn so much about local community - Ali is there to answer all questions- he invited us for a tour to see local school , which was very nice . Thank you so much especially for fresh whole fish and octopus curry !!

Restaurant in the Nur Beach Resort, Jambiani. Restaurant and bar is open all day, untill 22:00. Place: Very nice and pleasant place with a beautiful swimming pool and a few tables, very nice seaview. Staff: Staff is a very helpful, communicative, they speak very good English.Food: short menu, which is good. You can have everything what you want - snack, pasta, meet, fish, dessert. Food is good and tasty, but nothing special.Prices: starters and snack - around 3 - 5 USD, main course - 10 - 12 USD, dessert - around 3 - 5 USD.Bar: non-alcoholic and also alcoholic beverages. Bottle of wine red/white - 14 USD.Very nice and pleasant restaurant, with good food and very nice staff. Worth a visit.

After being in Zanzibar for almost a week on the East Coast, I realise that fresh ingredients are an absolute luxury, if not sometimes impossible to get. A salad takes on a whole new meaning and to get anything green in a salad, is normally impossible. So if you find a restaurant that offers this, it means you're in for a treat. The food is fantastic and the variety is a down right miracle. Top notch with a menu offering a wide range of food that could easily compete with my home city (a world food capital). There is also two extensive daily menus of the day offering Western and Swahili food for an adventure. As a previous reviewer said, you really don't need to leave the resort. (TIP) Besides, there are two things that will have a direct bearing on leaving the resort at night: 1)there is limited to no lighting on the beach which comes with reasonable challenges, and 2)the tide will determine if you can walk or not.Happy hour is from 5 to 7pm with a selection of cocktails at USD 3, fantastic and high quality. I'm surprised that this restaurant, open to all visitors, is not the top one or top three on trip advisor, but I guess it hasn't yet been discovered or explored by the day visitors. The environment is boutique without attitude, fun (check out all the seating places in the garden including the boat) and tranquil.

At first sip it is difficult to understand the wonder in extremis of the unique environment . White sand to the distant roar of the surf over the reef. This is an extreme living location. The walk across the sand to the lagoon will be alone. At sunrise, a life memorable experience. Seaweed farmers or fishermen flower across the seascape. But your experience will be your own, in a vast awe inspiring white sand space, filled by the tide with the warmest sea water. The hotel is ably managed by Daniella who creates a perfectly relaxed atmosphere with cool efficiency and professionalism.. All the staff are friendly and able, hello to Amor, Sijambo moyo wangu to Maria. The pool is perfect for a cool down. Small bars and food short walk along the beach, or just relax. We did and loved every moment. A place of respect and love.
