Beach bar and restaurant offers you local and italian breakfast, lunch, happy hours and dinner in front of the ocean. You can find also a kitesurf school "JungleKite" with professional instructors, a fun shop and a diving center.
we chose this bar restaurant mainly because of the roof-top providing a good shelter from the beach boys along with a good view from the ground. food was nice, only the sea food carbonara seamed somehow ...strange, but everything else was nice. kind staff and good shade during the afternoon.

LOCAL FOOD at LOCAL PRICE Delicious local food in a typical local stone town building with cozy and chilling ambiance, including a variety of drinks and beverages. We also serve different types of coffees, shakes and smoothies.
The food never disappoints. My second time from my first visit in 2018.Owner is indian...the team is all sk friendly and great.Cant have high expectations its local style and you need to be flexible and easy! Example...our bread reached much earlier than the food. The bread is made fresh so much more enjoyable warm!We ordered a seafood curry and a shrimp curry dish that came with french friends. We ordered a 2 plain naan and 1 butter naan and paid 32,000tzs The shrimp curry with chips was my favorite neither was spicy but both rich in flavour in their own unique way. Simply amazing and highly recommended!!!! Dont miss this restaurant it's a must try if you're in stonetown!

Absolutely amazing food. The ceviche was probably the best I had outside Central America. The service was quick, efficient and very friendly. It is a bit dark so you donât really see what you are eating, but we the tastes were outstanding.Highly recommendable!

Small local restaurant in Jambiani village a short walk from the beach (not on the beach/no seaview). We booked our meal a day in advance. Mohammed the owner only cook accordingly to his bookings. The seafood was very tasty and very well cooked. If you are looking for a local experience this is the place to go to.

Zanzest beach bungalow restaurant is located at the end of jambiani village. We serve italian plates and swahili plates.WE ACCEPT ONLY CASH
This place came highly recommended by someone who goes regularly so we were a bit disappointed to receive re-heated food with questionable salads at high prices. Also there was a very bad smell coming from the kitchen. Maybe we went on a bad day (Eid weekend) but if the chef was off they could have shut for the night...would not recommend.Dear Lucyy990,we are sorry to read your comment, we have several regular customers who come to our restaurant, what we like is give the best to eat well with everyday fresh products, to our customers. I ask you the kindly if you ever come back in Jambiani to try again our restaurant, a bad evening can happen to anyone. It will be our pleasure to meet you and give you more attention.Kindly.Zanzest team

A lovely informal atmosphere where you can choose from grilled fish pizza and local cuisine , great place to relax between a swim in the pool and a drinks Romantic dinners by candlelight poolside . Book your private party , your birthday cake
I can't believe the best restaurantin Jambiani clearly chooses to violate the law and allow smoking at dinning tables despite our complaints.DISGUSTING!!!Dear guest,First we thank you for having dinner at our restaurant twice.Regarding the smoking, first our restaurant is an open restaurant, second we cannot prohibit smoking while in many restaurants on the Island is allowed, this because Tanzania has no any law that states the prohibition of smoking at restaurants, but is the case of discipline, an individual him/herself to understand that smoking can be annoying and troublesome to others. About the complaints, we didn't receive any complaint about this, but i we do for any troublesome or problem, taking action on it is our first rule. But perhaps we will take your review as an advice for our restaurant.Thanks.

The highest "tea house" restaurant in Zanzibar town is located in Emerson on Hurumzi and has breathtaking 360* views of Stonetown and the Indian Ocean. The rooftop Tea House Dinner Experience offers cocktails at the sunset hour, dinner celebrating the ple
We like to find a special spot for our last evening on a trip, and the images of Emerson on Hurumzi made the choice easy. This was a very different experience from any we'd had in Zanzibar before. We sat on the floor on the rooftop and were served a fixed menu. We had an hour of sundowners cocktails then were introduced to the evenings events. They served what would have been a traditional wedding feast - a lot of delicious and unusual foods. The meal was accompanied by a local musical group who entertained us with traditional music. All in all a great way to celebrate the culture of Zanzibar.

Just visited the place twice last week. It serves fair local food, hence it can of course not compare with a real restaurant. The place is a real beach restaurant and the service is nice. However, if you want your fish and different type than well done - good luck. Also the side come down to rice or chips (chips I can recommend as they are done well).
Ate here tonight with my family, including my two children 12 and 13. The restaurant is smart ans spacious, the staff are very good and the food is absolutely superb (reminded me of Italy!!!) Reasonable selection, all freshly cooked to order. Good chef, good portions and good value also.I will return
