Highway side pub. Great food, Great beer, GREAT VEIW! Kitchen open till 10:00pm, Pub open till 2:00am
Let's face it. Haines Junction will never win awards for fine dining choices. But 1016 is the best I've tasted in HJ. It gets crowded, but the beer choices are good and the burgers are excellent.

40' Food bus, featuring Greek and Wood Fired Pizza. We have a large deck for a seating area with a stunning view of the mountains.
Guys and Doll RestaurantThe food here was typical of a food truck. It was OK. But no guarantee of what will be there next time. The chef seemed to know what he was doing but overall the experience was forgettable. Ribs and Vegetables were all OK.Quite limited drinks. There was supposed to be a Greek theme but we couldnât really fathom out what they were attempting to achieve

We were only in town for two days, but it seemed pretty obvious that the Raven was the only game in town as far as upscale dining is concerned. We found the food not to be amazing, but still very good and we were surprised that the prices were as reasonable as they were, considering the Yukon's generally high restaurant prices. (Interestingly the Bison burger (with salad) that I ordered was approximately same price as the Bison burger (with fries) available at the fast food place across the street). The atmosphere is comfortable but casual and the service (by the proprietor) was prompt and friendly. Only open spring to early fall though.

Menu offers a wide choice of Chinese and Canadian food.We ordered beef with vegetables and chicken with black bean sauce.Dishes came in large portions.Dishes were good, tasty and had lots of vegetables like celery, mushrooms, green pepper and carrot. We had a good dinner on our highway break and cannot expect more from a small town restaurant.Family operated and service good and friendly.Lots of free car parks.Free WiFi available.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at the Start Dust motel - great recommendation. The food is great and it is a local hangout. Don't be alarmed by the crusty fellow who takes your order he will eventually smile. Share the special if you are not a big eater.
