It is the second time I visit this perfect place to taste a good, fine steak in Merida City. But this time I was amazed when a local friend suggested roasted tuna fish and a whole grilled octopus. Don't miss them, both dishes are exquisite. Obviously we finished our meal with a vaciado steak, perfectly medium cooked. All in all a delicious experience. Enjoy your meal.

An unbelievably great place for snacks or lunch or dinner. Everything is authentic, delicately spiced, fresh, local and mouth watering. I can't think of one thing I would change.

First time here and was duly impressed by the decor. The menu is very extensive, somewhat overwhelming to say the least. I would suggest cutting back considerably. The waiter was prompt in taking our drink orders. The wine selection, like the food menu, overwhelming. The teeny tiny breadsticks were ridiculously small, with four small saucers of sauces. When the food arrived it was very well plated and a large portion. Our group tried several entrees. All except the grilled lobster and calamari rings were very good! The lobster was beautifully presented with a small salad, but flavorless. The calamari was rubbery and overcooked. Unfortunately my order of mellow rice had a few broken pieces of seafood shells, but I overlooked that, as the flavor and abundance of seafood was very good.Desserts were great but large portions. Of course, the highlight of the evening was the guitarist and flamenco dancers whom were the reason we went in the first place! They only perform on Friday nights at this time (930). The show lasted 1.5 hours!

Three of us stopped here for something to drink and a light snack after visiting the fold art museum next door.A beautiful restaurant! We only had drinks and one of us had some soup so commenting on the food is not fair . They apparently had just opened se we're the only ones thereAnd restrooms were being cleaned. The place was very clean.Service was good.

I was staying at this hotel and looking forward to the breakfast buffet. The restaurant is a victim of its own success -very crowded and almost impossible to get near the area for eggs. If in a rush, this is not the restaurant to choose for breakfast.Dear EstherP1882,Thank you for taking the time to review us on Tripadvisor. As you well said, on weekends sometimes can be crowded, but we know the wait if worth it.Next time you are visiting us, you can call us anf we will separate a table for you.

It's not bad, but expected way more from number one in merida, several places were way better. Not even pico de gallo at the tableThanks for your visit Matteo. Great to read you realized that is good and affordable, thats actually our approach. We especialized in yucatecan tacos and thats why we don't offer pico de gallo at the table. Instead we offer chiltomate, red onion and habanero (ingredients from our region).Anyway you can always ask the waiter or the taquero to serve you some pico de gallo. You might be discovering new great flavour mix .Come back soon!
