Things to do in Valladolid
What a fortune accident. We were trying to find a different place and were drawn in by the enthusiastic owner. Her mother is in the kitchen cooking all the Italian specialties. Let me tell you, this is driven by love... it's real Italy. The service was exceptional, and even simple things like pre-meal bread was superb. I couldn't believe the flavour of the crumbed black olive and oil, it was simply amazing. So this is my honest review. This is the sort of company that you will fall in love with. The people who run it do it for love, and that you can tell in the outcome. When in Rome (or Valladolid in this case) drop in

We stopped here on our way from chichin itza to holbox and had a great lunch with very kind owners and service.

We are located in the San Juan 2.5 Blocks from the church , Our restaurant is OUTDOOR POOL GARDENS WITH AN EXTREMELY NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CENTER OUT THAT MAKES IT VERY ROMANTIC
This pizza oriented restaurant is located in the south of Valladolid, a bit removed from the main plaza, in the San Juan neighborhood. It is large, with two floors of seating, and off street parking. Decor is fun for kids, with different wooden animals. The menu includes a range of beers and fruit drinks, and a wide range of food, the best bet being the wood oven pizzas. We tried both the pastor and the mexicana, which featured a smoked meat typical of nearby Temozón. Both very good. The dining area is open air. If itâs not crowded, it should be fine as they have fans. But if it is crowded, there are not enough fans to go around. Service is pretty good, and prices are reasonable.

Aroma Italia is a food truck that specializes in pastas. It's menu contains both classical recipes and original ones created with traditional and fresh ingredients like valladolid's famous longaniza and Temozón's carne ahumada.
We went there around 21.30 and it was still open ! As it is a open area, I suppose it is better to come at night. The atmosphere is nice and warm with a cute little garden. The waitress is very nice. The food is great ! With homemade beverage (try the icetea) ! And really cheap ! A must

Restaurant that offers a wide variety of dishes for all tastes and preferences at really affordable prices; Likewise, it has a park aimed at family fun that has a pool area with slide, wading pool, playground, green areas and two large parking lots.
We were on a tour to Chichen Itza and the Acuatica Restaurant was the lunch stop. There is a large store for souvenir shopping. The restaurant is large and colorful. We had a very nice buffet set up for our group. I found the food to be quite good. The service was attentive. It appears it has a water park attached. It was a rainy day so it was not being used.We would enjoy returning to this restaurant again.

Somos un pequeño restaurante italiano, nuestra comida es artesanal y casera realizada por Nonna, una auténtica mamá italiana. Con pasta fresca y el mejor patio para conocer el verdadero sabor de Italia en Valladolid.
As others have said the food is sensational excellent insulate for stater or veal, and home made ravioli to die for definitely the best pasta we have had since a sage ravioli in Sardinia 7 years ago. Frederick is great, knowledgable and sympatico in approach. They have only been open 3 months so you must go, forgot to mention Roberto as waiter and Nonna, unmissable

It is the small bistro with big dreams in the street of the friars, live an experience surrounded by history and romance, accompanied by a grandiose meal and refreshing drinks.
We were passing by and stopped here because a guitarist was playing some nice music. I did not have great expectations about the food and drinks. I was shown wrong. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the octopus (which was new on the menu) and the guacamole burger. Generally, I am not a huge burger fan because they taste remotely the same but this was completely new. They use a mustard base sauce which gives the meat this extra flavour. The octopus was also a huge success. After dinner we had a couple of drinks as the music was still playing. I recommend the strawberry daiquiri as they use real strawberries. All in all, restaurant was well above expectations and must be visited if you are in town.

We had read some great reviews about Trattoria San Giovanni and as we hadn't had any Italian in the month we've been in Mexico we were looking forward to pasta. TSG didn't disappoint - our mesero - David - was engaging and practiced his English while we practiced our Spanish throughout the evening. We shared a Mediterranean salad; I ordered fettuccine, and my spouse ordered the lasagna for our mains. Delicious! We were very impressed with the taste and presentation of the meal and left very satisfied. We also shared a bottle of very nice Malbec which paired beautifully with our meal. The ambiance of TSG was also very lovely. The skies were threatening a thundershower but we love to be outside and were able to sit out in the garden area, under cover, enjoying the natural surroundings. It never did rain and the evening was the perfect temperature for us northerners who had been exposed to the upper 30 degree range for weeks and were happy for a 28 degree evening! :) We enjoyed this meal so much that we considered going back for our second of two dinners in Valladolid but figured we owed it to ourselves to explore some of the other delights the city has to offer. We will go back on our next visit, guaranteed!
