Pleasant stay with clean, comfortable accommodation. En suite room with surprising touches such as robes, mini fridge and even a sewing kit! A warm welcome on arrival from a friendly host and a well-cooked plentiful breakfast the next morning. No hesitation in staying again!

Visited as part of a wedding party. There was barely anyone else in the whole place and the service was very average. The staff were slow and tried to take a dessert order mid way through the speeches. Bar staff were up themselves and the food was ok, they couldn’t cook a fillet of beef properly it was just disappointing. The food and service could be so much better, it’s just a shame no one takes the time or effort to appreciate someone’s special day.

Stayed here recently whilst visiting a friend, my young son and I were made very welcome by the landlady and all the staff who couldn’t do enough for us and even the locals in the bar were really friendly too. We both had the fish and chips for dinner which was a really generous portion and very tasty. Rooms are lovely and very clean, Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this area, you can’t go wrong.

We stayed here for two nights and were warmly welcomed and looked after. Food was excellent though there could have been more vegetarian choices. The breakfasts were very generous. The staff were very hepful and extremely friendly.

Stayed her on 27th May for one night, couldn't fault one iota of the visit, staff friendly, welcoming and can't do enough for you, room was spotlessly clean as was the en suite, beautiful countryside views from bedroom window, bed so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. Opted for the Yorkshire breakfast, very tasty locally sourced farm produce perfectly cooked and presented. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer, felt almost part of the family, I would certainly recommend this place 100% and Im sure I will return in the not too distant future.

Stayed for two nights in September last year, there was 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 children. The apartment was incredibly clean, we had everything we needed. Janice was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Fantastic location, booked again for this year!

A pub for more than 400 years, The Swan & Talbot in Wetherby has a long history and was once a posting inn on the Great North Road. The Swan & Talbot Pub and Restaurant has been a popular haunt for many of Wetherby’s locals and destination diners for many years and continues the tradition with decor oozing charm and character.
It was ok, but we were there mid management change. Which showed. The big annoyance was that they don’t take Scottish money. So much for “in it together”. Would give it another try after new management has settled in
