What a fantastic evening with friends at this quaint old Inn with stunning food and service. Our server Jim was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in guiding us through a wonderful dinner. The wine list was all great and very reasonably priced. Our starter was a spinach and artichoke dip which was served hot and bubbling to the table and perfect for pre-dinner conversation. We then had a house-made Lobster Bisque which was creamy with not being too thick and huge chunks of Lobster. Had Lobster for the main which was picked out of the shell, tossed with Arthichokes and Tomatoes in a white wine sauce over pasta, stunning flavor! Can't wait for future visits!

Lively, boisterous environment; Elegant and diverse dining menu. Complimentary Entertainment in Piano Bar & Lounge. 7 Nights a week. American style food, burgers, Salads with your choice of Proteins, Appetizers or all entrees.
We had a splendid evening eating good food (I loved the bang bang shrimp appetiser) and listening to Mr Dionne tinkling the ivories. In fact we got more than we bargained for when disco diva Ms Kuzma entertained us with a rousing set from the 70s. She was accompanied by the super talented cast of Kinky Boots. Not sure you can promise that every night but you might get lucky. Oh and the bar has a great choice of cocktails and fraught beers. Great fun. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. You most certainly hit our Disco Sunday evening on a special night. We were so fortunate to have the so many talented performers join us. We love our Stars from the Ogunquit Playhouse. CheersJohnny

Went and had lunch with the kids. I knew of this place from getting drinks here 2 summers before. We walked over from York's Animal Kingdom. We wanted a nice lunch and not "carnival food". The food was delicious, drinks yummy and the staff was super friendly!

My husband and I stopped at the Lobster Cover for lunch and as soon as we sat down I wanted to go but he was hungry :(. The flies were abundant and busy which for a restaurant isn't a good sign. After placing our order of a beer, soda, native steamed mussels and a lobster roll we were given a small basket of stale bread. My husbands soda came quickly and I finally after 5 minutes flagged down our waitress for my beer, which she forgot about. The mussels arrived but were in more of a water broth, I think someone drank the white wine they were supposed to be cooked in. They lacked flavor of any kind, just bland with boiled down onion chunks and tomatoes. The lobster roll was smothered in mayo :( such a pity to ruin the lobster with that amount of mayo. All in all a waste of a meal and money. The saving grace was my beer and the fries on the lobster roll plate, but I kept thinking how many flies might have already tasted them.As we left we noticed some customers being served on the outdoor deck, funny because that's where I wanted to sit but was told it was closed:(

Open year round, serving american fare with cultural influences. Featuring an open kitchen with a wood fired grill. Lively, fun bar and casual atmosphere.
My wife, two young kids and I eat out often and it seems like at least 75% of restaurants in business are downright awful. That is why we appreciate the Central so much. It is one of the very few restaurants we have come across that is consistently great. The food and service at The Central are always top notch and we know that we will have an excellent meal every time we come here. The only drawback, and it is a tolerable one because the food and service are so good, is that it is a small restaurant and the seating can be tight and the noise a little loud. They do so much business and we hope that plans for expansion are in their future; either here or at a different, larger location. If this place were just a little bigger with more room between customers it would be perfect. As it is it's better than about 98% of other restaurants so we will keep coming back. Our compliments to the chefs and staff. Your team is head and shoulders above most restaurants.

One of the best restaurants in Ogunquit. The staff are very accomodating and the menu has something for everyone. Drinks and food are excellent and the presentation is very pleasing. I would recommend reservations as this is a popular restaurant. Altogether a wonderful dining experience. A warm thanks goes out to our wonderful waitress Natasa!

We stayed just up the street at an inn and this place was recommended. It was a short walk and we got right in and sat outside (they are first come first served). There were heaters on the porch so although it was chilly, we were plenty warm. The service was great, very personable. I had a seasonal sangria to drink. It was awesome. Not overly sweet which can be the case sometimes with sangria. We got a plantain chip app that was delicious. I had the wasabi tuna meal and my partner had the fish ad chips. We both agreed it was some of the best f/c we've ever had! After dinner we had a boozy coffee drink and shared the cheesecake which is made a local bakery. The blueberry compote was outstanding! The owner also happened to be outside on the porch chatting with customers and even brought out blankets for guests sitting outside. Game changer! He was very nice and personable as well. Our only hangup was that there was not a hot coffee drink on the menu so we asked them for a decaf with 2 different liquors and were charged $22 :( Overall a great spot that we will definitely revisit when in the area!Thank you for the review! We love sitting outside as often as we can and we love that our guests do too! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit with us and hope to see you back soon!

Our first choice wasn't open so the locals suggested we come here. The drive to the restaurant was very nice. When you get to the restaurant if you have to wait there is lawn furniture with a beautiful ocean view. There really isn't any parking. Mostly for hotel guests. There is metered parking. Both the grill and pub were super busy. I think a lot of people were scrambling for someplace to eat. After a short wait we were seated on the pub side (our choice). It was later in the evening and just wanted sandwiches. The food was presented very nice and served very warm which was impressive. I had the haddock rueben. Although served warm there was no flavor. I know haddock doesn't have much flavor but there was no flavor from the rest of the sandwich. My hubby had the crab cake sandwich. He did enjoy his. Waitress was okay but didn't pick up on more water, etc. Things were busy; maybe that's why. Not sure we would return.
