We had requested the extra room with windows and they gave us a room without windows with the walls full of damp and they WANTED TO CHARGE US FOR THE EXTRA ROOM. When we protested the attitude of the staff was downright rude. Site not recommended.

Great place to stay. Wonderful hosts. It was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. I was supposed to stay there for 3 nights but I ended up extending it to a week. Thanks so much for everything! If I come back to Yangon, I'll be back here for sure! <3

luxurious apartment

Reviewed By supaclass

I did not expect that all apartments include a sitting room and a kitchenette at a very reasonable price. The property is around 20 min. walk to Myanmar Plaza Center; less than an hour taxi ride from/to the airport. The studio I reserved was big and had a comfortable king sized bed. Besides the usual amenities, a robe and slippers were provided. The room was cleaned everyday during my 5 day stay. Our package included breakfast which was served in the rooftop restaurant. A nightcap at the bar, also in the rooftop restaurant was a great way to end our day. Thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff for our pleasant stay.

Whats with the bad reviews???

Reviewed By Kyle H

great! we honestly don't understand what the bad reviews are about. the only negative thing we found was that there were mosquitos in the room. the staff were super friendly, the breakfast was nice, the room was large, quiet and comfortable. the internet was the fastest we have had in our 3 1/2 weeks in Myanmar. yes the water drained slowly in the bathroom, bus that's common in Myanmar. for the price, it was amazing. last time we were in Yangon we paid more for a capsule style room that was so small we literally couldn't stand in it. it was a closet with a bed in it, and a shared bathroom. the room we had here was huge and clean and quiet, and the staff were very friendly. it was the perfect stop since it was close to the airport and we were flying out the next day.

A taste of real Burma/Myanmar

Reviewed By LuckyTraveller17

We were booked into this hotel by Burmese friends as it was close to their home - an important factor as we were taken to their home for our mid-day and evening meals. North Dagon is a fast developing residential area, fairly close to the airport (about 30 mins). It still has a very local feel with a lively market. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and attentive, despite having virtually no English. But more than made up for by the generous Burmese breakfasts of fried rice or noodles, with fried eggs, sandwiches, cut fruit and copious amounts of green tea!
