Embark upon a culinary journey and experience the best that tropical Vietnam has to offer - the classics reinterpreted to reflect modern fine dining for the eclectic palate.
A friend in Yangon told me this restaurant was quite good, and she was quite right!I have now had two tasty meals here, and though it is pretty expensive by Myanmar standards, it is also exceptionally tasty. The wine, even by the glass ( i had a pinot noir) was really good, unlike much of the wine I have had in Myanmar. My main course was cod roasted in a banana leaf and it was perfectly cooked and presented. As an appetizer I had the shrimp mini pancakes and they were mouth watering. The coconut and mango ice creams alone are worth coming back.Dear Devadasi1, Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion on TripAdvisor. We are delighted to read your excellent review of The Lantern restaurant and to find out that the service and quality of the food were outstanding.Best regards, Marc Selinger Director of Operations
