I stopped in for lunch one day based on other Trip Advisor reviews. Not normally something I would do--I didn't travel to Japan to eat American food but what an interesting place! Loads of memorabilia, signs and artefacts from days gone by. It is Japanese-style, take off your shoes and takes a seat on the cushions on the floor. Burgers are home-made as you order them--not pre-packed or pre-formed--beef / pork mixture. The food was good and the service friendly. We love this place. After along day of hiking and enjoying the scenery around the Five Lakes at the base of Mount Fuji, a great meal at Moose Hill really hits the spot! It's very reminiscent of an American burger joint. Just remember to take Yen! No cards accepted. It is a little pricy but well worth it! We paid 7600 ¥ for our family of 3 - we had dessert as well.

My wife and I were looking for a quick dinner and 38K was just what we were looking for!! We had a couple of tasty pizzas and a couple of drinks. The price was good, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were lovely - highly recommend
