It is a 5-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and it is the only shop to eat KOBE Beef in Yamanashi Prefecture. Japanese-style modern atmosphere, the floor uses tatami mats and it is settled in the store. Because the menu is English and Chinese notation,
Great choice of food in a very japanese setting! Meat gorgeous! We had bottom sirloin boneless pork rib and pork neck in a sauce which was delish and boneless beef rib and shrimp and a plate of veg for four!! Really nice restaurant
Local noodle as known as "Yoshida Udon". Wide and thick noodle with several toppings. Try hot chili and Tenkasu on table with Udon noodles. åç°ãã©ãã®ååºããã¤ãæ··ãã§ã¾ããèãã©ããæåã§ãããä½é£ã¹ã¦ãç¾å³ãããåä¸ã®å¤©ãããåè¾åãã好ã¿ã§ãç¼èå®é£ã¨ããããã¾ãã
This is a small local eatery that does one thing (with a few variations) well. Basically, your options are udon with beef or udon with a fried long fishcake. Add a raw egg on top if you feel so inclined. Best noodle soup that we had in Japan! Soup was a really lovely broth that tasted homecooked and noodles were a bit like pan mee. It's a family-run shop so it might be a bit tricky if you're going to this place for the first time without someone who speaks Japanese. Having said that, people were very friendly here.

We saw this place in the visitor map and was pleasantly surprised! A little tough to find but Google Map will get you there! The udon is great! Would suggest:- cold udon with meat- side of tempura veggie- side of the famous fish cake tempura! We traveling with 2 kids and this place is great - good space in tatami style seats. They also have children's books (in Japanese) for kids to pass the time. Also have magazines and books all around for big people too!Price.... well - many reviews say it's expensive but generally feel this is ok-priced (~Â¥600-700 for a bowl of Udon and ~Â¥100 for sides). Overall super yummy and I think a nice stop in the area!!

In Japan, we eat Soba for New Year's Eve. Called Toshi-koshi soba. It's 800 JPY for 1 serving, with Soba sauce. It's not reasonable but Soba is very tasty.å¹´è¶ãè麦ãè²·ãã«è¡ãã¾ããã大æ¦æ¥ã大混éã§ãä¸ã§é£ã¹ã人ãå¤ãããã§ããããã¤ã¯ã¢ã¦ããå¯è½ã¨ã®ãã¨ãä¸äººåã§800åã¨ã¤ãä»ãã¨ã¯ããããªãé«ãã§ããããã¯ãè麦ã®é¦ããé«ãç¾å³ããã£ãã

On the shore of the lake this is a cozy little local style restaurant. We visited in winter so we were only joined by a couple of tables of locals drinking Sochu and chatting. We ate there a couple of times including by birthday dinner and were totally impressed by the freshness of their Sashimi the friendliness of the owner and the quaint atmosphere. We also had the freshest oysters I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The place is very unassuming, it has a simple hand written menu but is a comforting place to spend an evening. The prices are very reasonable and everything we had was delicious with generous portions, with some sake and full tummies you will spend no more that 6000 yen per couple.

This restaurant features Yamanashi style soba. Only four kinds of soba menu were provided. Soba, Soba with grated radish, Soba with grated yam and Soba with Japanese herbs and grilled miso. Price was a little bit pricey. Taste was Ok. Atmosphere was nice, it's very authentic old Japanese house.

Had kinoko houtou. Served in a large steel bowl with large servings of noodles (oh how thick and hearty they are!) and 6 or 7 vegetables.Very good flavor. Stable quality and service just as I expected from visiting Kosaku restaurant at Kofu train station.Excellent location in Yamanakako lakeshore area.Traditional Japanese style interior decor settings where the customers sit on tatami floor with zabuton, though there are some western style table/seats, too. The only wish to this restaurant is the pricing and the serving size. If they could provide smaller servings at lower price, that could attract more wide range of customers, as their bowls are all large and relatively expensive for noodles.
