母方の田舎が防府だったので、帰省の際は祖父と毎日のように行った思い出のお店。コーヒーとソフトクリームがありえないほど美味しいです。あと持ち帰りできるアーモンドケーキは高くて小さいのですが、それだけの価値があるやみつきになる味です。メニューもたくさんあり、夜遅くまで開いている。それより、店内の雰囲気が昭和の良きお店といった感じでとてもよい。いつまでも残ってほしい大事なお店です。

サンマルクのチェーンだけあって、パンはすごくおいしいです。焼きたてのパンがあると、いくらでも追加してしまいそうで怖いですね。個人的にはチョコクロが好きです。

個人的にそれほど、スイーツを多く食べるわけではないですが、ここ数年、ホワイトデーのお返しとして、ちょっとしたお菓子を買う時に利用しています。ホワイトデー直前の休みの日となると、お客さんが多すぎて、店内は混雑しています。女性からは、好評なので、今後もちょくちょく利用させてもらおうと思います。

Great coffee. Really, really good coffee. From the moment you enter you know that these guys know what they are doing. Their love of coffee, care and attention in making coffee really shows and is a cut above the rest.For some reason I found it very difficult to find a good cafe in Hofu City. You can wander around for hours looking for one that serves a good cappuccino and exciting lunch menu. I stumbled upon Cafe Glebe by accident but am very glad I did and has now become my go to place when visiting Hofu.The cafe itself is rustic with and easy relaxed style, welcoming for people going alone or in groups. They have numerous types of coffee beans on display from various places around the world. I think you can select these when ordering drip style coffee. I opted for the Glebe blend cappuccino. It was so good I had two and thought of ordering a third, but stopped when I realised I would be going back the next day for the same. Also on offer is a very good selection of food and food courses which seem to be all home made. Pasta dishes, pizza, sandwiches, tacos, snacks and deserts.The cafe itself is hidden in the Ginza shopping street in Hofu, just a short walk from the station. It seems very popular with people who know and is probably one of Hofu City's best kept coffee secrets. As a coffee lover, I can highly recommend.All in all 5 star coffee, 5 star friendly service.
