Great location -definitely the best ending up after a lovely stroll on the beach and then in the forest-, lovely and inspired food, excellent service with a smile and amazing indoors and outdoors space for kids to run around....
However, although there is a Greek Law which forbids smoking, the air was full of smoke and there were tables with people who were smoking with the Management keeping silent. It was terrifying to know that my kids could inhale the smoke of other people around. And shocking that the management of such an amazing place allows this.
Really disappointing...

by the waterfront of Corinthian sea this is a fine Italian type food restaurant , the service is quite fast and the pizzas and pasta are cooked by the order.
very reasonable prices and very difficult to find table on saturday night. one must make reservation during the weekend

"Mouragio" is a Greek poetic word which describes the place where small fishing boats anchored to rest and clean their fishing nets after a tiring night... At the same anchorage, our customers enjoy Corinthian Gulf's generosity, which daily offers us fresh and tasty fishes. Our stunning view to the Corinthian Gulf are combined with unique gastronomic experiences, Greek recipies, grilled meats and other flavors of Greek cuisine.
If you want to eat really fresh fish and other greek specialities, you have to visit this restaurant: excellent food, very nice service, friendly staff, in front of the sea in the centre of xylokastron, very reasonable prices.

Sea view place by the road with a long menu. We tried grilled vegetables and fried feta. For the main meal we had very nice beef with white sauce. Meat was tender and juicy. Musaka was only average.
All in all a good place for lunch&dinner.

One of the best restaurants on the coast of Xylokastro
My wife and I stopped for a "quick lunch" whilst passing through on the way to Patras.
We stayed longer than intended due to the pleasant atmosphere and wonderful view.
The waitress was very helpful and the food was good value and tasty.
Portions were generous.
We are pleased that we stopped here.

It's my favourite place in Xylokastro! In a town full of noisy and "trendy" cafes and bars, this is the place where you can have a totally relaxing experience; nice decoration, great location (by the sea!), quality music, polite people and a fantastic view of Corinthiakos.
It's an all-day place, serving amazing breakfast, delicious seafood (mostly meze-style), handmade pies and mouth watering Deserts (the orange pie "portokalopita" is a must). The best time to visit it though is during sunset, where the sea takes this spectacular red colour and the atmosphere is simply magic! You can enjoy it while drinking a glass of wine or homemade lemonade.
The service is great-quick and polite. The prices could be a bit lower.
Highly recommended.

Our hotel manager recommended us this restaurant as well as some typical greek dishes to ask for and we loved it! We haven't found a better feta cheese with honey so far, the quality-price relation is very good and the staff was friendly and nice :)

We had the Saganaki pizza, with feta, onions and shrimp. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly. I'm sure it gets busier in full season, but our visit was very relaxed - just what we wanted.

We ate here as a group of four adults and two children. The fish was delicious and the spicy cheese dip made a nice starter. It's a good place to eat and watch the sun set.

went for a swim. nice location, good service. first fail... prive sunbed area !!!! that had nothing exceptional but a poof and cold water coming regularly... and of course paying for it! sat right next to it ..... no difference and for free! generally they try to imitate athenian/ Mykonos beach bars in an area that is full of families and bars that offer free sunbeds and quality food/ drinks cheaper (freddo for 3.5€) second fail.... pre thinking! we ordered ntakos, came on a huge plate that didn't fit anywhere... we ate in swifts holding the plate, tsipouro with ice.... none order on the rocks we drink plain! small tables would be nice.... after all they have them laying around! pose with no background. would go again only for the location
