It's difficult to find a bar in a college town that does not cater to a young crowd complete with thumping music and impossible acoustics for anyone seeking to converse. The Front Street has a good selection of beers on tap and makes some interesting drinks for those who like their liquor in a mixed drink. My wife is partial to a Hendrick's gin martini with cucumber. Front Street is connected to Sweet Melissa's Vegetarian Cafe and serves food from her kitchen during the restaurant's hours.

Ordered the shrimp and classic steak. It's a good thing I ordered the full order of shrimp as there was barely enough for a child. Both orders were in one small container. The broccoli was good but the potatoes was a small container supposedly for two people. The price was expensive for what we received.

O'Dwyers Public House is a "Mom & Pop" restaurant. The owners, Deirdre O'Dwyer, James Grimes, Siobhan Rowell and Dwight Rowell are all family and at least one is usually there. We opened in 2013 in this location with our roots going back much further. Our
We were in town for a family ski trip and chose O'Dwyers for an evening meal. We had been driving all day and were ready to relax with an adult beverage. We enjoyed having the Irish Pub fare. I had the Colcannon and found it very tasty. Everyone was pleased with their meals and service.

Service was good the food was not. I got a chicken burrito it was ok but nothing really special about it. My wife ordered a pork burrito and when she got it the pork was sour and bad. I saw her picking through it and asked her what was wrong and she said it did not taste right. I tried a piece of the pork and it was sour, the pork had spoiled. We sent it back and she got a vegetable burrito which she ate but it is not what she wanted. It also had Velvetta on it as a topping that they called a queso. Then when we get the check they charged us for the sour pork burrito (it was more expensive) and not the vegetable burrito that she actually could actually eat. That told me they care more about profits than customer satisfaction. We will not be back. If I want imitation Mexican food I can go to Taco Bell and get food that is not spoiled. We are sorry to hear about your experience with us and thank you for the feedback. We are also sorry our server did not refund you the difference for your burrito that you did not find to your liking. The Alibi Pub located on 4th & Garfield in Laramie Wyoming boasts of a wood fired menu, live music, craft cocktails and an excellent draft selection. All of our Pizza's are made with the best stuff on earth... Caputo flour, rustic tomatoes, fresh mozzarel
The food here is outstanding! The kitchen is a actually a trailer out back of the restaurant where they cook the most amazing pizza and hot sandwiches! The "Pork Love" pizza is amazing as is the Burrata appetizer--ours was with proscuitto and fig jam. Oh, and the charcuterie is deeelish too! There is a quaint outdoor seating area out back. Fabulous service. Oddly, they also sell beer...and they have a bakery with breads to die for. In short, you gotta go here...

We stopped in for a couple of pints and enjoyed the ambiance of this longtime bar in downtown Laramie. As the title suggests, we felt it to be more of a local hangout, and enjoyed bellying up to the bar and making small talk with the patrons. There are quite a few choices for bars in this town - this is an able competitor.

We went here for lunch based on a locals recommendation. Modern, upscale locals on the corner right on one of the main streets. Had their drink specials, yummy. Good selection, I chose the taco salad, and my friend, a panini. Good value for the price. Friendly waitstaff. Would go again!

opened mid june 2012 - incredible local-sourced burgers & pizza & beer til midnite. Just exactly what this town needed!
I recently spent a couple of days in Laramie and the desk person at my hotel recommended this restaurant. First night: my husband and I went to Crowbar for burgers. The service was quick and friendly and our food was absolutely delicious. The meat was locally sourced and it tasted very fresh. Second night: we went back to try the pizza. It also was really exceptional with a crisp crust and very nicely balanced flavors. If you only have one night in Laramie you may have to choose but, burgers or pizza, you will be impressed. The atmosphere was casual and fun!

Born in a Barn is a full-service bar & grill, serving 12 varieties of chicken wings, 16 varieties of burgers, hot dogs, and a wide variety of beer
Upon a recommendation from a local business, we decided to try Born in a Barn for lunch one weekend. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but service was friendly and our server took our order promptly once seated. The menu is somewhat limited in that the main offerings are wings, burgers, hot dogs, and appetizers. That said, food is very rich and diners do not leave hungry. A full bar service is also available. Atmosphere is pub super casual, with a few tables of outdoor seating. We ordered the Barnchos to start. These nachos were made with house-made potato chips, queso, BBQ pork, bacon, cheddar cheese and spicy sauce. The portion was actually large enough for several people to share. That said, we split a Naughty Burger with fries and a side of onion rings. All food was served hot and fresh. Our favorite part of the meal was the Barnchos, which were crispy even smothered with all the toppings. The onion rings were decent, but the fries were soggy. Our burger was just okay and super greasy, perhaps because of the double meat patties.Bottom line: We would return to Born in a Barn for appetizers again in the future.
