Reviews on American food in Pinedale, Wyoming, United States. Pinedale is located in western Wyoming, approximately 75 miles south of Jackson Hole on scenic route US-191/189 to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. The spectacular backdrop of the Wind River Range stretches more than 100 miles, with 35 named peaks over 13,000 feet in elevation, including Gannett Peak, Wyoming's highest. Nearby Fremont Lake, at 12 miles long, half a mile wide and 600 feet deep, is the second-largest natural lake in the state and one of America's deepest.

Ordered a large hamburger here, it was good. Beyond that this is kind of a drive up place where you order and they tell you it is ready on a loud speaker or they will bring it to you. I had two issues, first the drink did not have a lid on it and second I found out after the fact, apparently you have to ask for things like ketchup for fries. I guess I should have said something about the lack of a lid on the cup. Another issue is in a flier I found in my room, it had a phone number but no address, Ok phones can always work on roaming but some people still do not carry cell phones and some providers my not have service, it is only common business sense to include your address.
Breakfast all day. Best steaks in town. Prime Rib on the weekends. Whether its 1 or a party of 10, stop on by for a meal!
This is a tough review to write as I know that the owners are fairly new & I hate writing negative reviews anyway. First the positive: Its a nice clean restaurant inside the Stockman hotel. There is no âMountain Manâ signage until you go into the restaurant & see the menu, but itâs there. Now for the negatives: our host was also an owner & the cook. He let us know that there were only 2 of them working, so that it might be a bit of a wait on the food. His wife was #2 & we never did figure out what she did aside from checking to see how everything was & deliver checks. We ordered a rack of ribs to share with a baked potato & salad. Although it didnât take that long to arrive, the potato was cut in half & still quite uncooked. Their were 2 1/2 slabs of ribs & mine was about as tough as beef jerky. When #2 checked in with us, we asked for BBQ sauce & for her to have the potato cooked a bit longer. Neither ever arrived, but she did come by again & ask how everything was...again. This time, I mentioned that my ribs were way over cooked & that we hadnât gotten our potato back yet. She apologized for the ribs & said sheâd give us a discount, but never offered to replace it with something else...and seemed shocked that her husband hadnât brought back the potato...completely spaced on the bbq sauce. At this point, we realized that it was just best that we pay our bill (discounted $5) & leave, as the raw potato wasnât served with ANY condiments & theyâd likely never show up had we asked anyway. Maybe the owners bit off more than they could chew & should just simplify the menu until they figure things out? It was just too awful for us to give them another chance.
Coffee, Espresso, Tea, Pastry & Snack. Sit down or take it togo. Alpine modern gifts, postcards, art gallery, jewelry, & handmade ceramics. Private events and Catering. Live music 4th Friday.
We stopped here on our way to the Tetons. What a great little find. The shop is a renovated muffler shop with eclectic decor. The espresso bean is freshly roasted small batch and so smooth. The vanilla syrup is homemade from Mexican vanilla bean. The little touches you donât always find. Yum and yum! Definitely worth the stop.

Greeted by the owners who explained the meal. Eat at our own pace. The meat, chips baked potato and onions were cooked in a caldron of oil like fondue attaced to a huge pitchfork. All you could eat including meat. Best fried chicken I've tasted. Also had salad, fruit, beverage and dessert included. To get there turn at the rodeo grounds in Pinedale just outside of town.

A Buffet is typically advertised to allow you to choose what you eat and eat in a timely manner. They make one thing at a time and wait until that food is gone to make the next with the goal of waiting you out so you will just leave hungry. Don't bother calling, they won't answer and bring a snack to hold you over if you order food as it will take an hour.

Half Moon Lake Lodge offers casual fine dining, patio seating and a saloon with fantastic lakeside views.
We happened to stop in Pinedale on an overnight visit with friends that also happened to be our anniversary. The hotel proprietor where we were staying recommended the Half-Moon Lake Lodge as one of the best dining places in town, particularly since the current chef had arrived. Having eaten there many years ago and knowing the picturesque setting we took her recommendation. We were not disappointed -- even on a Sunday night. The dining room was rustic elegance and the view over the lake spectacular. We opted not to dine on the deck as a couple of other groups were already enjoying themselves outside and thus we had the dining room mostly to ourselves. The servers were efficient and friendly, and our food was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a tee. The fried calamari appetizer was crisp and not oily and came with a tasty aioli. The steaks -- ribeye and filet -- were succulent, and the chicken juicy. The dessert special -- a rustic interpretation of strawberry shortcake was interesting and not too sweet. There was an excellent selection of wine and beers. Overall, we could not have found a more perfect place to celebrate a special day.Thank you fro choosing us for your anniversary dinner! We ae happy to hear you enjoyed your experience. Thank you for the great review and I hope you'll come back out if you're in town again!

Lakeside Restaurant operates within Lakeside Lodge Resort and Marina. Our restaurant menu is American regionalism, influenced by traditional French and Asian-fusion practices. The majority of our products are sourced from proprietary and regional provider
We stopped in for drinks on a Sunday afternoon after exploring Fremont Lake views from above. Even though we didn't want to enjoy the main brunch for the day, staff served us our choice of drinks while we sat on the deck and relished the lake view. There is a small marina just below the deck so we could see several boats enter and leave. A fun location during the warm weather days.

We ate breakfast at Heart and Soul every morning we were in town. The coffee, both their namesake blend and the French roast, are worth refills. From the crepes to the rancherâs skillet you canât go wrong. Do not leave this place without having the sourdough toast with homemade strawberry jam! Yummy!!!

Everything you think "traditional diner" means - charming, sparsely decorated. Old-school waitresses serve up meat-and-mashed potatoes, burgers and onion rings, and fried chicken strips. Hearty fare. No room for dessert, but wished we could have taken home a pie (alas, no cooler in the car!). We'll be back!

We were staying in a motel a few blocks away and this place was recommended to us.it was after 8,so we just needed some sppitizers and a beer before settling in.first the girl completely forgot our beer and the people that came in after us got all their food INCLUDING their beer and we sat a while.the place wasnt crowded so I'm sure she forgot to put our order in. We only got some shrimp tacos and mozzarella sticks.they came with sweet potato fries.well when the food finally came, the fried were so ice cold we asked for hot ones.the buster brought them for us.everything was just ok,even our marinara for the mozzarella sticks were cold.we were so tired from all the traveling we did that we just wanted to go to bed,but like to buy a beer glass from every brewery we visit and when we asked our waitress if we can buy a beer glass to put on our bill, she asked if we wanted to wrap up the one we had.i dont know why she would think we wanted to buy a glass with NO writing on it,and we had to tell her NO,we would like one with the name of the place on it! Took forever to get change and we high tailed it out of there
