Best mocha of my life! Cozy, comfy surroundings, where people seem to know each other. We first stopped here on our way up north; we liked it so much, we planned our route back to include another stop at Great Northern Coffee Traders.

We stopped in after a day in the Minocqua area for a late lunch, there were five in our family group, 1 pre-teen and 1 teenager and three adults. When we arrived the waitress/hostess tried it seat us at a table that would only accommodate four people - the restaurant was not full and there were plenty of tables available. We refused and asked to be seated at a table that would actually accommodate our party - the waitress/hostess was not pleased with our request to be seated at a larger table but eventually walked over to a larger table and tossed the menus down.
We had a different person as our waitress - service was a bit slow and the waitress did not check in with us on our needs often - i.e. drinks.
Two of us had the vegetarian lasagna - noodles were under cooked and overall poor taste. One of us had the ravioli and another had the tortellini - average to below average. The bread sticks that came with out meals were good - the best part of the meal actually.
The final member of our party had a pizza - this was decent and tasty, very thin crust which worked in this case.
We also ordered an appetizer of cheese sticks - warning stay away from them, not good - they tasted like a poor commercial variety of cheese stick.
Overall very poor food and service and we would not go back.
Best part of the meal was the view of the lake.

If you’re in Minocqua you need to check out Minocqua Pizza. Located across from The Waters. Amazing food, they have what they call Billy Bread, it’s amazing. They have lots of different pizzas available in 12 inch and 16 inch. Appetizers also, soda and beer.
You won’t be disappointed

What a delicious lunch ! My husband & I really enjoyed the "specialty" items on the menu, which is different & unique. Everything is very fresh, the atmosphere is wonderful & quiet, the view is beautiful & tranquil & the service is warm & friendly. We'll be back tomorrow !

The beautiful wooded lot makes a wonderful backdrop for this restaurant set back from the lake. Lots of good hors d'oeuvres upon arrival. The disappointment came with the room temperature and scrawny overpriced crab legs. There isn't much to say for the bland fish either when dozens of taverns around plate up beautiful fish fries every Friday night at a lower price. The coleslaw was good, the corn fritters were like fried tasteless rubber in bad need of the corn syrup (called maple syrup) that is served with them. We did have friendly service.

Can't go to the northwoods without stopping here. Quick place to get a hot sandwich and great ice cream.

We left this place all saying I Can't Believe I Ate The Whole Thing. Two families totaling nine enjoyed cracking peanuts and tossing the shells on the floor. Just go ahead and get the peanut butter and bacon burger!

Loved this place can't believe we have missed it all these years. Will definitely become our go to breakfast spot. Nicole our waitress was full of spunk and attitude. Making you feel like you are at home!! Thanks for the memorable morning.

This place was recommended by a friend who raved about their real (not mushed-down fried mashed potatoes) German-style potato pancakes. Unfortunately, as we found out, those are only served on Fridays! We skipped the alternative mushed-down fried mashed potato pancakes they serve the other days of the week.
However, that disappointment aside, we did have a good meal.. My prime rib was good, mostly tender and a decent flavor -- I'd put it at the 60th percentile of restaurant prime ribs that I've eaten. We arrived early, but wern't seated even tho there were many tables available until our reservation time. We did each get a glass of wine and sat on the very nice outside area and enjoyed the great view while waiting to be seated. It was a nice way to wait. The dinner was good (not great, but definitely good), the view was great, the service was on the slow side but the price was very reasonable. 2 dinners and 3 glasses of wine for $71.00 including tax and tip.
Given the price, I will certainly go back.

We offer Southern BBQ up North. Our daily menu offers pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and chicken. You can get these as a sandwich or dinner, and we offer combo meals as well. We also offer a variety of specialty sandwiches featuring our smoked meats. Don't forget about our pizzas too!
Stop in and tried the Judges plate which consisted ribs (tough)chicken excellent ,pulled pork ho hum , brisket very good .Baked beans good and potato salad ,potatoes hard ie not cooked long enough. But options limited in Northwoods for BBQ so where else you going...MoreThanks for stopping in and for the review
