Last stop on our three day mini vacay in CT and this place looked interesting and had good reviews so we gave it a go. So glad we did. Good news, Good food!! Farm fresh food, Not your typical menu or approach to food. my husband had a burger. which came with fries, and cole slaw and he was just so happy!. I had the tuna melt which came open on an English muffin with melted cheese, a roasted tomato and a strip of bacon on it. Thought I had died and gone to heaven!! And a nice little salad of greens and fruit to boot. We were completely stuffed , but how can you not order dessert? So we shared an apple cranberry tart that came topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled withe caramel sauce. Fabulous!!! Do stop in if you find yourself antiquing in Woodbury.

Great pumpkin pie, good variety of tasty cookies. A little picky about picking up your goods on time if you've ordered them, but it's easy to work around that and just abide by the rules...

Wish they put the cream cheese on the bagels instead of in a cup with a bendy plastic knife supplied. Bagel wasn't very toasted & after putting cream cheese on it was cold. No espresso drinks, all coffee drinks out of their canisters. All the more reason just to go directly to Ami's for the real deal.

Only complaint is that do to the decor ( lots of wood and glass) it can get noisy
BUT everything else negates this
Service (Michael) and the rest of the wait staff are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful
Great drinks and a very good wine list.
Food is the best in the area. You can get everything from shrimp po-boys to duck breast dinners which I highly recommend. Also slow roasted short ribs. Very generously portions
Some reviewers stated MP was pricy for the area, my response to that is , MP is head and shoulders above the restaurants in the area.
Want high prices go to West Hartford or some of the places on New Haven or the coast areas

We've come here a few times and have never been disappointed. Ice cream is always delicious, tons of flavors and combinations to keep everyone happy. I'm lactose intolerant and still can't deny myself a little bit of ice cream now and then, so I always order a small. Small is definitely not what you receive here. These smalls are massive. Coffee ice cream is definitely a favorite.

Lauretta and I celebrated our 56th Honeymoon dinner here. Wow! Perfect ambiance and great food. Kim our waitress opined that the lobster bisque here was the best anywhere... and we can second that! Yummy! Lauretta enjoyed the Olive Tree Chicken, and I the special Cod with lobster and crab sauce, clearly the best I have ever had. We desired elegance for our anniversary, and The Olive Tree has it. The decor throughout was impeccable in color and presentation. A Baby Grand piano near the entrance had five huge old-fashioned candle lanterns placed nicely on it, the candles all lit. A nearby fireplace had seven candles in white vases burning nicely as well. And yes, we had a candle burning on our table, which was located at a corner location with the best view possible of the entire dining facility, as well as the beautiful gardens, flowers, trees, and other yard pleasantries. A memorable dining experience in a memorable restaurant.

Date night dinner on the patio. Waitress gave us time to talk and order for a leisurely dinner. Much appreciated. She had duck ,a bit dry but good. I had hanger steak cooked perfectly. Excellent presentation for both. Very enjoyable time. Will be back.

Woodbury Diner has been in business since 2009 solely owned by Jimmy Rakiposki . It is a place for friends and families to come together and enjoy a variety of great meal choices. Breakfast is served all day, so why not come and get pancakes for dinner. Everyday there are specials written for lunch and dinner. A diner is known for fast feel good foods, but here we put a touch of unique CIA specials. Not only is The Woodbury Diner, a place to come and eat but it includes a great family atmosphere. We have our family here come bring yours!
I have read about this diner and decided to stop in today while I was in the area. SO GLAD I DID! This is not your normal diner food. Yes, it has a regular looking diner menu but the quality of a great restaurant. First, the service was excellent. Natalie was so friendly and patient. There was no rush. Second, the food was incredible. I have never had such great mozzarella sticks in my life! These were homemade, you could tell, and so large they were beautiful. The dipping tomato sauce was so good, not your typical diner sauce, I ate the rest with a spoon. If you like mozzarella stickers you have to stop by and try these!! The sandwiches, I got the Reuben with corned beef, was excellent. The sweet potato fries the best, not greasy. . Everything is homemade and it tastes it. On the way out I met the owner and he was so pleasant too. They just make you feel at home, like they have known you forever.
This is a must stop if you are in the area to even if you just want to take a beautiful drive and have a pleasant meal. Worth the drive from anywhere!!! I'm going back soon!

A bad waitress can really ruin eating out. Our waitress bawked at our request for separate checks. Meal was fine. At meal's end, she once again showed her stuff by shortchanging me $2. Maybe she was anticipating her tip!

It's simple Woodberry deli is the only Italian deli within 10 miles of its location. Fresh cold cuts and salads and Daley had bar specials make Woodbury deli extremely appealing.
They get fresh Italian bread from New York every day and if you going for a grinder it makes the difference. So when you're in town stop in for a sandwich salads or something from the hot bar you won't regret it.
