Some friends took us to this very casual place in Woodbridge.
Interesting approach - no table service - you walk in, order and when your order is ready, someone brings it to your table. No problem with any of that.
Reasonable price and good size pizza. Salads are very nice sizes.
My problem was that the pizza is tasteless. The crust was good but there really was no taste on the top. They need to spice up their sauce - or perhaps put more on the shell.
Not sure if I would go back.

Fantastic Authentic Italian Cuisine. The gentlemen who served us were very attentive. We tried a mix of salad and pastas, all were delicious. The bread with olive oil was a welcomed beginning to the meal and the cappuccinos to finish it were delightful.

Established in 1995,critically acclaimed ZiZi Trattoria has become popular with locals and tourists alike. Our menu includes a selection of antipasti, salads, soups, pastas, pizzas, fresh fish and a number of continental favourites. Owners and a caring staff oversee your meal from start to finish assuring your every need is satisfied.
Having had a great meal at Zizi Trattoria our first night in the Toronto area, we returned for a second dinner on our last night, after recognising that this was the best Italian in the area. We had the calamari fritti with a salad for starters, followed by the Saltimbocca al Limone and the Pizza Villa (with proscuitto). All were perfectly prepared, truly authentic. We ordered a couple of glasses of the house chianti, and our waitress advised us to get a half carafe, only a few dollars more and much more win - nice call! Despite being a busy Saturday night, service was appropriately fast and attentive, with the owner coming by a couple of times to check that all was going well. And excellent value. Highly recommended!

Cool decor and vibe. The food was good but service was spotty. It took awhile just to get my wine. I would go back and give it a second chance.

Sunday hours vary due to business levels, most Sundays we are open!
We used a Groupon certificate and that was fine. Fair selection of choices from their "Groupon Menu". I asked for my Veal Medallions med rare. They were burnt on the exterior and cooked medium on the outside. No arugula as stated. Just a bunch of cooked vegetables with dry mushrooms. The bill came and low and behold a 25% tip had been added by the manager! How dare!!! We did not have desserts or coffees which came with our Groupon but did purchase wines and beers of which we knew we would be taxed on. Seriously 25%, is this their normal procedure. Thank you but with or without Groupon a $216.00 bill without alcohol is definitely not worth our return!!

Found this restaurant by chance. Great meal and service. Spicy Thai noodles were excellent. So was the Mango Chicken. Have to go back soon. Craving it already.

After 30 successful years at Regina Pizza on College Street, That's Italian Ristorante is now opened for business. While sporting a somewhat more modern look, we are pleased to offer you some of the best, authentic Italian dishes around. That's Italian Ristorante is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday and for dinner on Sundays. Full lunch and dinner menus are also available for Delivery and carry-out.
We came here our first night in Toronto for my birthday dinner. It had good reviews online and we wanted something nice. The exterior is a little deceiving because it's in a strip mall like building but the restaurant is decorated pretty and has a very nice atmosphere. We got the lasagna and the Bolognese and both were excellent. The cheesecake and the torte were good for dessert. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. It was a great was to start our time in the Toronto area.

We tried to make Reservations but they had been all out when we called the week prior, they told us it would usually be about a 30 - 40 minute wait so we just decided to go anyways.
Being from the US I’m a little leary of Chain Restaurants... but we had heard good things from our Canadian friends, so we decided to go anyways.
There was indeed a long wait but that was expected. The staff was really friendly once we finally got to sit and the food was delicious. My husband got the prime rib and I got a bacon wrapped chicken dish that was super tasty.
They also had really good French onion soup. I definitely recommend it!

Casual Dining
Wow..., wow, wow. Every bit you take is a wonderful gastronomical adventure. Absolutely every mouthful! This review is completely independent, we don’t know these wonderful people (they must be), that own this quaint family restaurant.
Most restaurants fall in the 80 percentile on the bell curve - making a ‘just ok’ grade. Another 10 percent are no good. THIS delightful trattoria delivers.......and it delivers in the top 10 percent; magna cum laude.
We stared with what you would expect, the antipasto. The meats were perfect, the cheese excellent and the vegetables tasty and sweet. The hot chilli oil with the bread is out of this world. (Don’t be surprised if you just pick up the oil bottle and drink it! )
My wife had the muscles and spicy pasta, which she absolutely loved. I had the the chicken cutlet with the homemade gnocchi. Please be warned!!!! ;-/ The gnocchi is addictive! We finished our meal in traditional fashion with tiramisu and espresso. Once again homemade and wonderful.
I’m not completely certain, but based on our experience, everything on this menu would be delightful. It’s up to you whether you come here or not. That has nothing to do with us; rest assured.....We’ve already made our Reservations, we made our next Reservations while paying for our check from tonight‘s dinner. (How often have you read that in a review?)
Anna Maria Trattoria & family - thank you for such a lovely meal!! See you in two weeks.

This restaurant starts with a beautiful decor and is not overly loud like many in Woodbridge so obviously design has something to do with it. We had an excellent server, Sergio, who was helpful and attentive. The starters, Grilled calamari and Caesar salad were both very good and the calamari was not rubbery and the seasoning was very good.
The mains of Penne alla Vodka and the mixed grill special were both excellent. The rainbow trout special was a little disappointing as it was not as flavourful as it could have been. Maybe grilling instead of baking would make it better.
Overall we were very pleased and will return again.
