We are an international team of 10 employees. We speak your language: German, English, Italian, Albanian, Serbian-Croatian, Polish In the young Wolfsburg, built in 1954, our object was opened as an inn "Hansa Kogge". 1970 converted to the "Wienerwald" and 1990 again, as a hotel and restaurant "Golden Henne" reopened. Since 2006 in the hands of the familiy Saliovski and now since 2013 also in family ownership! In 2019 the last reconstruction and renovation work and the renaming of the building at „Boutique Hotel Goldene Henne“. Located in the heart of Wolfsburg, you can reach our sights such as Autostadt, Phaeno, VFL Veltins Arena, ice stadium of the Grizzly Adams, art museum, or our relaxing Allerpark with its many events, all within walking distance. For our business travellers, you can travel by train, 10 minutes walk from the station and directly "around the corner" to the Volkswagen factory, we are your ideal city hotel. A Cosy Boutique Hotel run by Amazing Hosts!
Reviewed By yalamarty1Stay Period: 12 Nights, Business / Learning. - As part of the IGMTP program contingent. March - April 2019 Pros: Amazing Hosts, Wonderful Breakfast Spread. Cons: No lift ( wasn't a con for me, though) A small boutique hotel, the IGMTP program contingent made up of most of the guests staying at the hotel. Catering to such a wide audience from various parts of the globe, itself would be a challenge, but the hosts, i.e. the owners of the boutique hotel, ensured we had a very comfortable stay ensuring most of our requests were met. Since our days began early, The breakfast was of very prime importance to all, Fresh Eggs, Omelettes & Breads along endless pots of coffee / tea with were available daily along with cheeses / meats / other breakfast condiments (on some days as early as 5 am! ) The rooms were very comfortable, but be careful of not leaving your key in the room while closing the door. Got locked out once but was solved a.s.a.p by the hotel staff. Since there is no provision of a lift, would recommend asking for a room on a lower floor, if you would feel the same would be an impediment while you travel. Secondly, some rooms have a bathtub and some a shower cubicle only, just in-case one would have specific preferences on the same. Best Wishes to the Hosts & the Staff of the Hotel Goldene Henne.

Avoid not worth the money at all
Reviewed By alexwalkershmHotel has no internet will work for a few minutes and kick you out. Large web pages or videos don’t work. For the money go somewhere worth staying. Not even tea or coffee in the rooms and the owner is super rude, when told the internet doesn’t work she proceeded to shout at me and told me and my wife if we come back she calls the police. Do yourself the favor spend the money in a better hotel with nice staff. I’ve stayed in 5 different hotels this week all beautiful with friendly staff and working facilities unfortunately this is not one of those.

Reviewed By Felix4471Wir haben anlässlich einer Fahrzeugabholung in der Autostadt hier übernachtet. Dieses Hotel ist ein günstige Alternative zu dem teuren Hotel in der Autostadt. Sehr schöne Zimmer. Sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Perfect host, very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast, and free beer and soda included in the room price (can be found in the fridge in the breakfast room at all times). Nice little yard where you can enjoy your breakfast, if you want. Only thing we needed was a fridge of our own, but there us a ‘guest’ fridge in the breakfast building as well. Would like to stay here again!

Reviewed By Christi1905Der Service ist mega freundlich und sehr flott unterwegs und die Speisen sind äußerst lecker! Zudem gibt es mein Lieblingsbier vom Fass (Hasseröder) ? Wir lieben dieses griechische Restaurant ?? Leider ist die Akustik manchmal etwas laut - gefliester Fußboden... Das schmälert bei gutem Besuch ein wenig die Atmosphäre - daher ein Stern Abzug. Aber trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen!

Reviewed By Bogdan ZIn general an average hotel, the rooms are not that new (but very clean), size of the rooms is big enough for 2 people, price is decent for a business location as WOB. Regular breakfast, medium from the point of view of variety. Location is very good, 30 mins walking to Wolfsburg Arena through a forest and near the lake around.

Reviewed By 596andersmEn enkel och prisvärd pension. Ett äldre par som ägde hotellet och de var väldigt vänliga och hjälpsamma. Bl.a. så serverade de frukost efter utsatt tid. Rummet var enkelt men helt ok. Väldigt lyhört, så det hörde som grannen duschade i mitt rum :-). Toalett och dusch i rummet. Beläget endast 500 meter från järnvägsstationen.

Reviewed By mreiweissBin mal wieder hier. Die Zimmer sind sauber das Personal ist nett. Parken kann man vor der Tür. An der Bar kann man gemütlich sitzen und Fußball schauen wenn man das möchte. Gegenüber ist ein Edeka wo man sich noch das holen kann was man benötigt.
