Stopped in to kill some time. Looks like an office building on the outside. Pleasant place inside. Decently clean, friendly staff, and modern bathrooms. They also serve food here. Rental shoes for our party of 6 all appeared very new.

My parents and I were looking for a good place to grab lunch. The Rock was not just good it was GREAT! It was mid-afternoon on a weekday, so there weren't many people (seriously, you're missing out!).Varied menu. Fresh ingredients. HUGE sodas!I had the Bourbon Street burger. Cooked to order fresh burger. Great taste! I went with just regular french fries (which were very tasty) but apparently I missed out. My dad went with a pulled pork sandwich and upgraded to the sweet potato fries. He and my mom thoroughly enjoyed. Sweet potato taste with the crisp of a great fry. The pulled pork sandwich was piled with meat. Sauce is on the side - Dad loved it.Mom had the daily special of chicken tacos. Crunchy (had a choice of soft or hard shell) and the chicken was just right flare with peppers.Their daily specials are usually something different that's not on the menu. Chicken strips are hand-cut chicken breast and hand breaded for each order. Fresh ingredients. Handmade seasonings.It's a bar that has a regular restaurant menu and excellent food.

We visited first and last time, menu very limited at that time, plus pricy for what you get, told by waitress they were experimenting with food at that time, inquired of overhead doors for outside seating. She had very limited knowledge. Place looks up scale but served low class food and service, my sandwich delivered on pie tin.. Not classey or up scale would you say...Bar was full, first class liquor behind bar. Clean which it should be. Thought it would be a first class supper club, we have enough, pizza, burger, sub shops. We need a good quality food place not just another glorified bar...Very dissapointed!!!!. In F.M and city of Sun Prairie...

I recently took my daughter out for dinner. The Nitty Gritty has two for one burger coupons, which makes the experience a budget conscious choice. The burgers were tasty and the service was very good.

Always seems busy, under staffed at times, rules for seating at tables no booths available.. Bar has listing of beers and food specials for the day...Staff could be more pleasant.. Burgers hand made and cooked the way you want. Limited food menu but many crafted beers great down town location....

Stopped in for lunch with relatives. First time visit. Overall pretty good, every thing made fresh, very good menu for a sports bar type of [place. Beef Barley soup was outstanding, cheese curds were fresh, coated very thin coating, sandwiches ample and made fresh to order. Only concern (but I;m not a salt person) everything had a distinct salty flavor.

Found this place thru a @Thrillist article for the best #chickenwings per state and these were the ones for #wisconsinThey're a little pricey at $10 for 10-12 wings and they only offer #dryrub or #buffalosauce (or combo of both) unless you want them #plainThey was a big no-no for me as the sauces, usually #bbq , are my favorite part about wings.That said, the dry rub was delicious and the #appetizers were cheap and delicious, especially the #breadedmushrooms and #jalapenopoppersOne other warning, this place is #cashonly . There is an atm outside if you need it though.I'd say the wings here are solid, but my search for the best will continue...
