Harvey Moy's Chinese & American Restaurant serves the finest in Cantonese, American, Szechuan, Hunan, Mongolian and American cuisine with American hospitality for over 50 years.
Stopped into Harveyâs after our first choice out in Thiensville was closed for a private event. Plenty of choices on the menu and the waitstaff was friendly and quick to help. The food was very good, the portions being very good.

Had the best sushi lunch here, very fresh with an excellent presentation: It's the place to go for excellent sushi. Have Happy hour on Friday and Saturday night in the bar 8-10pm.
Driving by at dinner time we stopped here for a hoped-for quick, simple dinner. We quickly learned the five or six tables up front were not practical for in house dining. Most were occupied by people waiting for their takeout orders. Everytime someone came through the door, a blast of cold air followed them through them, bathing the tables in cold air. A lone family was eating at a tabke, with hats and winter coats zipped up. Seeing this, we ordered our food as take out from an extensive Cantonese menu. Arriving home, we found the thin-skinned pork rolls excellent. My wife's cashew was enjoyable, My sweet and sour pork had lots of pork, but the accompanying sauce was overseet and a bit dense. Good for takeout; would only try to eat inhouse on a warm day.

Can't go wrong with a $6.20 lunch buffet, The menu varies slightly each day but you can always find plenty to eat. Usually about 8 entree's along with the usual soups. Food is replenished quickly and I have never had anything but hot food. Free refills on fountain soda. You can even

This was our intro to Milwaukee area sushi about 2 years ago, and we were impressed with the freshness of the sushi, the beautiful presentation of the items, and the service. While service remains good, the presentation has declined. On our most recent visit, the sushi was not old - but didn't "pop" with the nice fresh taste we were accustomed to, and there were no beautiful embellishments to the plate in the form of garnishes or artful drizzles. The beauty of the plate is an integral part of sushi's appeal. Does it depend on day of the week or the chef on duty? For the near future, we'll visit our small hometown sushi restaurant which remains consistent in flavor and presentation.

Tried the Main Moon lunch buffet. It's inexpensive ($7.99?) and offers a variety of choices. We went around 1:00. The only disappointment was the temperature of the food. Everything was just lukewarm. Would we try again? Definitely but maybe around 12:00 when there are more people eating.
First I must say this is a cool place. The interior is designed so Cool! We ordered the crunchy appetizer, which was delicious. Then we had a mars roll and 2 saki dons which went beyond our expectations. Everything was delicious, fresh and bigger portions than we expected. Service was also quick, friendly and efficient. We will be back. This is a hidden gem in a tiny town. We are sushi snobs and this place was awesome!
