The good thing about Panda Express is that it is a chain restaurant and the quality is the same at any location. I was happy to know what to expect when I arrived to eat here in Manitowoc. The staff was friendly enough but moved a little slow. They didn't have the teriyaki sauce stocked and nobody was cooking. I've been to another location where there is always someone cooking so you know you are getting fresh, rotated food. They told us they would bring the sauce to us but after about 7 minutes I went and got it myself. I would recommend Panda Express for anyone who wants a quick meal that isn't a burger or taco. There is a drive-thru and it's also the type of place you could eat alone for a quick lunch break from work.

The food taste good but I've gotten sick twice and one day I found out why, I went to the bathroom and while in a stall someone came in and when I was washing my hands the person came out of the other stall and it was the owner who also handles putting out the food on the buffet. Well when I finished washing my hands I left the water on for her and then watched as she DID NOT WASH HER HANDS just waved one hand though the water and that was that. I then went back to the table and told my husband we needed to leave and not return.
I love potstickers (Chinese dumplings) but mostly find a really thick dough with a small amount of nondescript filling - yuck! This place takes the time to make potstickers the way they should be (thinner wonton and tasty filling of meat and vegetables, steamed and then lightly pan fried for just the right amount of crispiness) and for half the price of a lot of places. We have been there five times now and have been happy with everything we tried. The house fried rice is superb, Mongolian beef is flavored just right and very tender, and you can have a generous glass of delicious plum wine for only $2.50!Jade Palace has been in Manitowoc many years. I suppose people want to try new places, and the owners have not changed the decor (which I think is quaint and authentic, but some would call it dated). Hopefully more people will rediscover this place as the food is simply great and the owners are really friendly. They do not take credit cards, but will accept local checks.
Got the chicken Pad Thai and it was SO GOOD! Huge portion and food was authentic. Also got the spring rolls which were AMAZING. I had heard many good reviews from friends so wanted to try for myself and they were right. Also, staff was very friendly.

Had not ordered from the Lucky Bamboo in some time. Ordered a wide variety of entrees for family dinner. Food was excellent, portions are also very generous. Elected to pick-up rather than have them deliver. The food was ready and hot right off the wok as we arrived. Also has a number of tables for those who want to eat in.

Really good food. Ordered two kinds of rolls and an entree. Entree was large. Probably will just go there for sushi and various rolls and skip the entree next time. Table was dirty, looked like it had not been wiped and the menus should have been replaced a long time ago, they are badly worn. But the food is great.
