The food isn't great, but what you would expect from a bar. The service is absolutely terrible. Not very clean either. If you're going out for a Friday fish fry in the Appleton/Menasha area, you can find much, much better.

Friday evening. Had a reservation for three at 6:15. Seated at 6:30. Ordered right away. Appetizer, three meals, water. ($55) Everything was delicious until I cut into my steak which was asked to be "medium". Bloody mess! It was seared on both sides and totally raw on the interior. What had been a nice dinner turned into a mad dash to a concert. Made it by a few minutes due to the extra wait for food. Also, it wasn't enjoyable to have to hurry to match the status of dinner buddies. It would have helped, also, if the waitress was anywhere to be seen. We had to ask the busboy to find her. Ex-Favorite Restaurant? Second time disappointed in two months...

We like the road kill and burgers. Side salads and sweet potatoes are great. Peanuts are fun and rolls are delicious. Waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Often busy so waiting for a table is sometimes a long time. If you want a quiet dinner this isnât a choice for you. Itâs noisy with loud music and birthday celebrations.

Came here on a Friday night before a concert at the nearby PAC. I had the petite filet and my friend had the walleye. We also ordered the a la carte risotto and garlic mashed potatoes. The meals did come with a complimentary salad and bread as well. The bread and salad were really good. I enjoyed the French dressing on my salad even though it seemed more of a vinaigrette. It was tasty! The petite filet was a nice size and cooked perfectly. My friend also enjoyed his fish. Both sides were good too. Last, but certainly not least, our server, Susan, was very attentive, respectful, and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly, I'm torn with this review, as I live 2 miles away and don't want to bash any new business that opens in the area. That being said...... Whomever decided on this venue did not do their market research. I can honestly say this as I have an MBA, and the Appleton vicinity does not encompass the demographic that will pay $75 for a dry aged steak. My wife and I and a few neighborhood friends, met at the bar for a few drinks to plan a party. After 2 hours, my wife and I had 2 glasses of wine each, and 2 appetizers, and our bill was $97! I wasn't keeping track, so when the bill came I just about fell out of my chair. Tap beer averages $10, wines average $14 a glass. This is what I am used to paying when I travel to the East Coast. If they can't get their prices down.... I give them 6 months. Especially when there is an excellent martini bar across the street. I'm assuming they figure many clients are on business staying at the hotel and will be expensing their meals. My experience is that ship has sailed. I work for a $110 billion company and my travel meals are capped at $35 for dinner. Good luck Wissota....Good afternoon and thank you for dining with us! With 19 of our 22 glass offerings averaging about $8 - $10 being offered for half off each day to explore new options! While being in business for over 2 years with 4 locations we have really found our niche and are proud and excited to be a new addition alongside some already phenomenal establishments in this area!
