We stopped for dinner on a fall getaway weekend in Door County and tried the smoked prime rib, which was excellent. Some of our group also enjoyed the smoked ribeye sandwich. The sweet potatoe fries were excellent and the creamed corn nuggets were interesting and tasty. The place was jumping....literally! The bar side of the restaurant is a really loud sports bar with a jukebox and on this particular saturday it was filled with rather well-oiled patrons who were shouting over each other to be heard. The atmosphere was not ideal....we were glad to finish our meals and leave....but the food was good and the service was also good. I just wish we'd been seated in the other side of the restaurant!

I met an old friend I havenât seen in a while at Harbor View Grill. And what a view it is! It was raining so we stayed in the restaurant instead of going to the roof but it still had a great view because of the huge windows. We shared the spring rolls and fries. The food was great and the service was excellent!

If you are paying your bill with cash be prepared to be ripped off. We were a party of 4 and we all paid with a bill larger than what was owed. We should have received bills and coin back. When we spoke to the waitress she explained that the restaurant does not deal with or use coins! We should all have received $8.49 in change instead we received $8.00 even. Doesn't sound like much from just one table but over the course of a day or week it adds up.......does the IRS or the law know what is going on here!?!?Mary -Thanks for your feedback. We stayed here for 3 nights the week before Memorial Day. The suite was fantastic!! Enough space to spread out with the separate bedroom and having a kitchenette. It is the perfect location to get to all the attractions, although not within walking distance. There was a convention going on, but we weren't really bothered by them. There is enough space on the property. Our room had a view of the woods, but really was overlooking the parking lot. Not really a bother, but it would have been nice to have the lake view. I imagine the lake view rooms would have a perfect view of the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for making a mid-week getaway so special!!!

My hubby and I enjoyed our dinner here very much. We ate here on a Monday evening around 8:00pm., and there were still a lot of people dining that late in the evening. My husband and I shared two sandwiches because we couldnât decide- everything looked so good as it was going by us. We had the Beef Brisket, and the Patty Melt. We shared the sides of cole slaw and homemade potato chips- both good! The Beef Brisket was served on a toasted âeverythingâ brioche bun, and came with tomato, lettuce, red onion, and horseradish which I had them put on the side since I donât like it, and my hubby does. No fat on the meat, and it was delicious! The Patty Melt was really good too. It was very well toasted, and had cheese and grilled onions. We had great service as well! Highly recommend this place!
